New Adventure

The three of them had gathered in the school library, for a meeting about Michael and his vulnerability to the sun.

  The whole point of today was to see if there was a way to reduce the effect that the sun had on Micheal maybe even end it, since that would cause a total defeat if they were to ever fight in daylight.

They had brought shades, hoods and a black umbrella. Micheal wore the sun shades and the hood, he took the umbrella and decided to give it a test, Micheal checked to see if he was completely covered by the umbrella.

They headed to the school ground as Micheal stepped into the sunlight with the umbrella over him, the system screen didn't appear but the only problem Micheal had was that, he can't fight with a umbrella over his head, he had to find some other way to avoid the sunlight, the sunlight shield decreases fast, he had calculated the time it took to decrease to zero, it used one hour before it drops to zero and if he can end a fight before an hour, then he is safe.

Cole insisted that he should try the Hood on, that it might block him from the sun and reduce the effect since he can't hold a umbrella and also fight at the same time, Micheal decided to try it out. He wore the black hood and a thick black trousers, on his feet, he then wore a black bucket hat on his head.

Cole and Blake started to laugh as they pointed their hands at him, "You look ridiculous" Blake said as he continued to laugh uncontrollably. Cole had stopped but he couldn't, Cole picked up the umbrella and smack him on the leg with it, he fell down and his face hit the ground. Micheal and Cole then started to laugh at him as he stood up. "Fine, that was good, good one Cole."

Micheal stepped into the sunlight again, the system didn't react to it, Micheal grinned and he decided to start wearing it everyday, he found it comfortable to wear. After finishing the test.

"Men, you are so lucky, you don't get to grow old. You will forever be a Child to us when we get older" Blake said and he started to laugh again, Cole added "Don't worry, i will take care of you, My child, Daddy will be there for you always." Blake and Cole started to laugh loudly as they saw the look of annoyance on Micheal's face, then a dark thought entered Micheal's mind, if he really wasn't going to grow older again, that means he would stay the same like this forever.

All the girls will be running after him forever and he will get to see the new and upcoming beauty Queens in the world, while this two annoying brats, Cole and Blake would be long gone, a smile slowly started to appear on his face, Blake and Cole stared at Michael as they saw him smiling like a maniac.

They slowly stepped back and ran to their dorm room, "Hey cowards, wait for me" Micheal shouted as he ran after them, they arrived at their dorm room smiling and joking. It was now late and the curfew had began, They went to sleep.

Once they woke up, they headed to the Cafeteria, surprisingly, no one was there yet, they were the first to arrive, Micheal ate his food like a starved man as usual, the three of them had now finished their breakfast and was coming out of the Cafeteria, the other students had just started to come in, all of them had bags under their eyes, like they haven't slept for days, the students noticed the three of them coming outside agile with no sign of stress or sleepless night. The students stared at the three with their mouths wide open in disbelief.

"How..could they...sleep..so well..." one of the students said as he stammered.

"All students should head to class now, you have three minutes to get there" The robot announced over the PA system.

All the students fell to the ground after they heard the announcement, they were tired and haven't even eaten breakfast, but Class had already started. They started to curse at the Makisis for invading, if only there was no war, they would have all stayed at home and lazy around all day without a single problem. The three of them arrived at the class leaving the tired students back at the Cafeteria, to their surprise, Lisa and Kaylee were seated already, they had always been early, Micheal groaned in frustration at the thought of why he couldn't beat them to class. The teacher came in and saw that the class was scanty with only five students in the class, he didn't care at all, he started the class right away.

"Hello,My name is Matthew, if you dare call me Matthew, i will slit your throats and i promise you one thing,they won't find your bodies." Matthew said with a serious look. Micheal, Cole and Blake hugged each other tightly in fear as they heard what Matthew had just said.

"Am just joking, call me Sir.Matthew i am your research teacher, the commander of the War team, your worst nightmare." Matthew smiled and laughed at the sight of Micheal, Cole and Blake shaking in fear.

"Okay students, the portal to Planet Metero has been successfully activated, We will now take you on a sight to behold, i see that you guys are a team already and Kaylee is the Team leader. It time to explore a planet with no beast, the last planet the Makisis that had waged war upon us destroyed, each year, each students are taken to this planet for research." Matthew said as the screen behind him displayed a planet, with fallen buildings, like an apocalypse had happened on it causing it to be laid in ruins.

The portal was taken from the Makisis when humans had first shot down a Makisis jet, the portal 5o this planet was discovered, and since then the place has become a research ground for students. Humans had managed to make more portals from this, they used the first portal has an example to make more.

"I am sure you guys know about the portals already, since you had gone for a weekly team match before, you have been to a planet before." Matthew said. The other students had started to come into the class, Matthew continued to talk as he saw them come in, looking tired.

He faced the five of them and remembered that last night, most of the students couldn't sleep, so they would be naturally tired this morning, but the five of them had full energy, he wondered how they slept through the night.

Yesterday night there was a large noise coming from outside the school compound, the military were testing a new weapon that was just invented. The test went on throughout the night, so no students had a good sleep, but this five looked like they slept well.

All the students sat down, Matthew started to explain again to the students who had just came in.

"So we will be sending you all, just like how the team match is, you are to go in teams, why am i even explaining that? It is required for you to be in team when going to another planet."

Micheal raised his hands slowly to ask Matthew a question.

"is the planet full of beasts?" Michael asked because if there were to be beasts on the planet, that means he will gain more Exp by killing them, so he can get to the next level and see what the system has in stocks for him.

"No beasts has been ever spotted on the planet, it's clear of beasts" Micheal became sad with the answer the teacher had given. He raised his hands again to ask another question.

"Is it optional? Can i choose to not go there?" Michael asked again.

The teacher started to become angry, he answered Micheal's question " No, it not optional you must go."

Micheal raised his hand again, he was trying to annoy Matthew, he smiled as Matthew face started to turn red in anger.

"What the fu*k is your Question this time?, is the portal blue? Are gems found there? Will i see a star if i go there? Just what is your problem." Matthew shouted at Michael, Micheal blushed as he heard him shout, Micheal really wanted to get back at him for scaring them. So he, Cole and Blake had planned this mischievously.

"Can I see the stars from there?" Michael asked again. Matthew went towards Michael. "If you ask another crazy and meaningless question. I will shut your mouth forever." The three of them started to shake in fear at the threat Matthew made, and his eyes showed seriousness.

Kaylee and Lisa looked at them and started to wonder why the three of them was in the same team with them. They were complete idiots and troublemakers.
