Enhanced Tournaments

After the incident with the second-year leader, Whereby Brian turned out to be a beast that can transform into a human form.

The white corps had came in to kill him while Michael, Blake and Cole was severely injured after the fight and were taken to the healing bay.

Security around the school had been enhanced, the military had set out micro cameras that can't be seen everywhere around the school.

The academy also had there armies. They had been deployed to the school ground, inspection and identification checking had been going on, all this had happened just within the span of three days, it was a quick change. They were keeping an eye on everyone.

 While tensions were high in the school, the team had to lay low, Micheal wasn't able to go around and drink blood, so the team did a meeting and cancelled the night hunts before it could even begin, the only option he was left with was to improve his fighting skills, the team match and other activities in the school were still active.

After finding out his blood abilities worked in the game, Micheal turned the game to his training ground. He, Cole and Blake started to go there everyday after classes and sparring. There was an error in the VR game the last time he played it, that was why the attacks he took while playing the game had affected his stats causing the system to react, because his body was in a  critical condition . The system was protecting the user.

Whenever he uses hemomancy to shape weapons using his blood, the system minus an hp from his life-force. Since the error in the game had been fixed, he wondered if he could practice his ability in the game without it affecting his stats.

Micheal, Cole and Blake headed to the arcade, once class was finished, when they arrived there Blake payed for the game. They went into the pods.

Micheal Continued the match, the game brought him back to the ancient temple and a new player was brought to him, the player held a katana he was dressed like a ninja, the grade 6 was displayed over his head, he laughed when he saw Micheal was a grade 1, suddenly, the player was at his back about to cut him down with his katana, Micheal ducked the attack swiftly then he formed a blood katana and slashed the player from different directions with an incredible speed, decreasing the hp player to zero but at the time, he had lost no hp.

Just in case, Micheal opened up his system tab to check if he had lost any hp during the battle.

"So it really was an error the last time, then i should go bigger till i can master my ability well."

This also meant the attack he takes in the game won't have any affect to his body outside. He wasn't losing health, so inside the game, he could go use his ability to the full and also not worry about taking any hit in the game.

The fact, that Micheal could still use his ability inside the game made him wonder if the system was also an ability? And of course, he had never heard of an ability that was gained through a book, only ability stones.

Next to race, it stated that he was no longer human. He had evolved into a bloodlust halfling, so he was given certain abilities related to only blood. Of course he knew he was a vampire, but the vampires he had read inside fantasy books didn't have an ability that could use their blood to form weapons nor do they have a system.

Before going into the next match, Micheal wanted to check if he could form another type of weapon other than a katana and a dagger, all he had to do was think about the weapon and his blood would instantly form it, so Micheal decided to form a great sword using his ability.

This time he selected a grade 5 ability user, he knew that if he wanted to grade himself, he would probably be a grade 2.9 ability user.

The game had found him an opponent and the player was immediately teleported into the battle ground. The player held a large hammer, he wondered why all the players had a weapon. When the countdown reached zero.

Micheal dashed towards him with the blood great sword, he landed an attack on him but it seemed to have no effect on the player, Micheal leaped backward to avoid the hammer, suddenly, the player was up close to Micheal, the hammer landed on Micheal causing a large shockwave across the air. Micheal game health was immediately drained to zero.

"Hammerhood won"

Micheal logged out of the game and came out pf the VR pod, He saw that Blake and Cole were still in the pod so he waited for them to be done so they could all head back to the School ground, it was getting late, Cole and Blake came out of their pods and the three went back to the school ground, as expected, their identity was checked before they were let in.

Michael was satisfied even though he had lost, he was planning to go against the player who defeated him, now he knew his game id. Micheal opened up his stats panel. Micheal had learnt a lot about the system during the three days of resting the three had taken after their battle with Brian, he could now use exchange his Rampage points to increase any of his stats, so he decided to exchange each Rampage point for each stats which gave him a boost by four points to the stats.

He decided to leave his hp at twenty since he wasn't planning on getting into a fight sooner and lose a lot of hp. The next team match was close, it was scheduled to be in two days.

"Every student should head to the general hall now for an announcement is to be given to all the first year students" The robot said through the PA system.

"I don't get why i had missed this annoying robot so much, i might be going crazy" Micheal thought as he and the others went to the general hall.  When they arrived at the general hall, the armies stood at the door as they inputed a chip on the hands of every student that passed the door. It was finally Michael, Blake and Cole's turn, the man put the chip on the three and they were allowed to enter the general hall.

Micheal grinned as he saw the system notification, the system altered his stats so has to make the chip grade him as a grade 1 that he was to everyone instead of a grade 2.9 ability user "i love this system".

When all the first years was now in the general hall, a female stood in front of the crowd, she was part of the white corps, she had a thick red hair with blue eyes and wore a white jacketwith big white furs around the collar and a badge was on the jacket under the jacket she wore a black suit. She had a smile on her face.

Micheal noticed that, the members of the white corps always smiled apart from Kevin who was cold hearted.

"Hello Everyone, my name is Emily the third ranked of the White corps. I am here to announce to you about the Enhanced tournament, which will be taking place in two months." Emily said then she began to explain .

"The enhanced tournament is a match between two students of different schools, the tournament is not on a scheduled date and the next tournament after this can be in six years later, so i advice you to train hard so we can win the tournament."  The moment Emily made the announcement, all the students exchanged glances at each other, they were all confused about what was currently going on.

"So they finally acknowledged that other Schools existed." Michael murmured.
