Ch4- The First Showdown

"You took it too far Hirako... you didn't have to take off his entire arm. Your father is going to be very angry that you ruined the mission right away."

"Leave him alone. He couldn't stand seeing his lover get hurt."

"you two are having too much fun with this. A low life like him didn't deserve any forgiveness... also stop saying stupid things like that Akiru, she is not my lover"

the venue student started walking away from the other two that he was with. A tough-looking female in a what looks to be a butler's suit, and a softer looking male wearing a black cloth jacket that is big enough to cover his entire body.

Both also seemed to be great friends of the venue boy or better known as Hirako... Kozaki Hirako!!

"hey, Akiru... he just blushed didn't he?"

"I think so... heh"

Hirako started walking towards the back room of an old abandoned facility. It looked like a beaten up factory that had a bunch of chemicals before. It reeked of the smell of weird and unknown chemicals.

In that back room, a certain Asuka was sitting alone by herself. She seemed very distressed even though the three people that took her made it very obvious that they don't mean her any harm.

She was worried about something else, something more important than her safety.

"you didn't eat the food we have given you yet... why is that?"

Hirako gave her a very warm look, its as if he was waiting for this moment to happen. The moment where he gets to finally talk to her again after many years.

But this was a one-sided feeling because Asuka showed no emotions towards him whatsoever.

"relax... your father will be safe. My father sent me and the other two outside to make sure that you and your father will be safe."

Asuka couldn't believe what she just heard. She didn't know whether to be happy or frightened of three strangers claiming that they are going to go up against the nobles and the royal family for her father's sake.

"oy Hirako, why did you reveal our mission to her??"

"she is scared, it's okay."

"no, it's not!!"

the conversation carried on between Hirako and Nokumi for a solid minute before hearing Akiru yell out...

"HE IS HERE. RANK THIRTY-TWO IS HERE"

it didn't take more than a second for both of Hirako and Nokumi to start moving.

Nokumi headed towards Asuka to protect her. She had very strict orders from the person she is assigned to help... Hirako.

Every member of the main Kozaki family had a butler and a guard assigned to protect, help, and assist in every aspect. In Hirako's case, it was Nokumi and Akiru with Akiru being the guard and Nokumi being the butler ever since she was nineteen years old. She's been loyal to him and only him for seven years while Akiru has been assigned to be his guard on their 10th birthday and has been his guard for eight years now.

"I guess trying to lose him was pointless. The royal family's tracking dog, rank thirty-two of the royal guards. Hirako should we just take him on and put him out of commission?"

"grandpa and doctor Fukuya said that they didn't need him for research. Feel free to hurt him as much as you want Aki-chan"

Akiru immediately took the orders he received from Hirako and disappeared in the blink of an eye while Hirako went back to make sure that Asuka was safe.

"Who is thirty-two? And what does he want?"

Asuka didn't know much about the royals and the government.

She was hoping that Nokumi would tell her and that she would be able to see if what Hirako said about them being there to help her and her dad was true or not.

"He is a government dog. He's got great tracking skills and he is also one of the ranked sixty-eight soldiers that the royal family is in control of. His job is basically tracking down whatever they want to track down and in this case. It's all four of us.

it was the first time that Nokumi had shown any type of kindness towards Asuka ever since they took her. Perhaps it was Hirako's orders that made her ignore her feelings of hatred towards Asuka. She had a problem with Hirako being involved in such a mess, and that mess was because of Asuka and her father.

On the other hand, Akiru was standing on the top of the old factory... waiting patiently for the dog to show up. He was ready to kill anyone who was a threat to any of the Kozaki family members.

And it didn't take too long before he showed up.

The showdown between the dog who is also rank thirty-two of the royal guards, and the Kozaki's trusty guard was about to go down.
