Fifty years ago, there was a massive war between seven noble families that wanted to steal the throne and rule Japan. That war is what shaped the earth into what it is now. The Kozaki family got kicked out of the seven noble families and their authority got evoked by the Fukusaburu family who's the current royal family. Filled with a sense of revenge, Watanabe Kozaki decides on turning his entire family into a family of mercenaries with two goals, stay alive and destroy the royal family. This story follows one of the five children of Watanabe Kozaki, Hirako Kozaki, and his adventure to regain back his family's place at the top of the world.
It was a hot day in Tokyo but, it was also the day that Kaisei Academy had its entrance exams. Kaisei Academy is one of the many schools in Japan that teach martial arts, magic, and swordsmanship, but Kaisei Academy was a special one. This school is sponsored and funded by the Fukusaburu family. The reason this school was funded by the royal family is that all the noble families would send their kids there.
It was a scheme made by Araki Fukusaburu, the head of the Fukusaburu family and the king as well. The most powerful man in the world but not because of his skills, but because of his influence on others.
He was always a bad person, ever since he was a kid. A lot about his past is unknown since his parents passed away in a mysterious way when he was 10 years old, it was big news when this broke out, it was the first time that a member of a noble family suddenly had disappeared and then was found dead in the arms of his dead wife.
Not a lot is known about that incident and especially after Araki inherited the throne. He was able to delete all the evidence of that whole incident, and no one even attempted to question him about it. They all feared him. He was very dangerous. Of course, until he became ill and passed away, leaving behind seven children that are the candidates to success that throne.
