Mirai was yawning while watching everyone fuse. It seemed that nothing could faze her and no matter what they did, they wouldn't overcome the difference in power.

It was a dramatic scenario. The fusions were made in the nick of time, bringing a glimmer of hope for "our heroes." Could the newly arrived Gotenks, Barhan and Buling turn the tide? Gotenks was already in Super Saiyan 3, Barhan was in Super Saiyan Blue, and Buling was in Super Saiyan Red.

The small but cocky Gotenks was the first to jump into the fight, wanting to steal the show. He went at Mirai full of himself, unleashing a flurry of blows.

"Take that you crazy lady! Don't you know who you're messing with? I'm the incredible Gotenks, the most powerful warrior in the universe!"

Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh!

Mirai didn't even flinch. She blocked all the punches and kicks with one hand, as if shooing away a bothersome mosquito. She flicked Gotenks, who went spinning away like a top.

Bang!

"Ow, that hurt..." he grumbled, seeing stars.

Barhan and Buling watched apprehensively. They knew they'd have to join the fight next, but they were scared to death of this powerful foe.

Mirai crossed her arms confidently. "What a bunch of losers! No one here is at my level."

That made the others' blood boil. Buling clenched her fists, her blue eyes flashing with anger.

"Why you, we'll take care of this smug girl!"

Whoosh Zap!

Bang bang bang bang!

BooooooM!

She charged at Mirai with everything she had, Barhan right behind her. The two unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, but Mirai nimbly dodged them as if she had eyes in the back of her head. In the skirmish, she landed a right cross to Buling's face, sending her sprawling to the ground.

Bang!

"Ow, that hurt..." grumbled Buling, rubbing her sore jaw.

Whooosh ZAP!

Barhan tried a Kamehameha to see if he could inflict some damage on the opponent, but she simply deflected the energy beam into space with a flick of her hand. Barhan was dumbfounded.

"Dang, this chick is super sinister!"

Mirai let out a mocking chuckle.

"Ha, bunch of weaklings. Just give up already."

Barhan gritted his teeth, livid. His blue eyes flashed green as he gathered all his ki.

"Shut your mouth, you wretch! I'll take you down even if it's the last thing I do!"

He charged at her completely out of control, enveloped in a flaming aura. Mirai calmly waited for him to get close, then struck him with tremendous force. Barhan flew away like a missile, crashing into a mountain head on. The impact was so violent that pieces of the mountain collapsed on top of him.

Bang!

"Owww, that hurt even more..." he groaned, buried in the rubble.

Mirai let out a triumphant laugh, hovering above the battlefield.

"Ha, I warned you that you don't stand a chance! You'd better give up now before I decide to eliminate you all."

Our heroes were exhausted and could barely move. Was this the final defeat?

Just then, out of nowhere, a gigantic purple energy beam crashed into Mirai, sending her flying. Everyone's eyes went wide in surprise.

"What the heck was that??" Exclaimed Gotenks, flabbergasted.

Then, hovering majestically in the air, an imposing female figure with purple hair appeared. Her honey-colored eyes flashed with determination, enveloped in a powerful aura.

"Verdandi!" Cried Buling, moved. "You've come to save us!"

Verdandi cast a serene gaze upon the fallen warriors.

"Don't worry, now that I'm here I'll take care of this threat once and for all."

And she flew to meet Mirai, who was already recovering from the initial impact. The two powerful warriors engaged in a fierce battle, exchanging blows and energy beams that shook the earth. But now, finally, Mirai seemed to have met her match. (A/N: Mirai was just toying with her. The blows didn't even scratch her.)

The epic battle between good and evil unfolded before the hopeful eyes of the warriors. Could Verdandi's help finally give them a chance at winning? It was too soon to say. But one thing was certain: this battle would go down in history!

While they were focused on the fight, they didn't even notice Towa arrive next to everyone.

"Now, do you see the difference in power? Both Mirai and I know Superior Instinct." Said Towa, who also had modifications made to her body by Ethan, and her words shocked everyone.

"Besides, Mirai was born knowing Superior Instinct. Her hair has been silvery white since birth. Even though I know Superior Instinct now and I'm her mother, I'm weaker than her." Said Towa, happy to boast about her daughter being superior to anyone.

"Oh, don't think it will stay that way. Even though we'll lose to you now, we'll get stronger and defeat you." Said Buling, the fusion of Bulla and Lingie, who had already lost. (A/N: Imagine them attacking Mirai from behind.)

The battle raged on, with Mirai demonstrating her absolute superiority. Even the powerful fusions were no match for her.

"It's useless, you pathetic losers!" Mirai taunted. "You're just insignificant worms compared to my power."

She let out a sarcastic laugh that made the warriors' blood boil. Gotenks charged at her again, but was swatted away like an annoying fly.

"Get lost, brat!"

BAM! Mirai landed a punch to Gotenks' face, knocking him out cold on the ground.

"Oowee, what a fierce woman!"

Barhan and Buling tried to attack together in a last ditch effort. But Mirai simply vanished, dodging all their blows in the blink of an eye. She then reappeared behind the two and struck the backs of their necks forcefully. (A/N: Imagine Whis knocking out Beerus.)

THUD! The two warriors dropped to the ground, defeated. That's when the fusion came undone.

"Dang, this girl's a monster!" Grumbled Bardock, trying to get up.

"You got that right... I don't think there's any hope." Conceded Gohan, crestfallen.

Bulla and Lingie struggled to their feet, propped up on their knees. Their pride wouldn't allow them to quit, even though defeat seemed certain.

"We won't give up!" Bulla exclaimed, spitting blood on the ground.

"What foolishness." Said Towa. Appearing behind all four in an instant.

Whoosh Bang Whoosh Bang Whoosh Bang Whoosh Bang!

Striking blows to each of their necks and finally knocking out every one. Towa used her staff to levitate each of the 4 and laid them side by side.

"Now it's just you left~" said Towa with a smile on her face.

Verdandi filled with rage. ["After all, wasn't she a mix of a Saiyan and a Kaioshin? How could she be losing like this?"] Verdandi thought, possessed by righteous fury in her eyes. Upon seeing all her siblings lying there looking dead, fury emerged from within her body!

"Haaaaaaaaaaa!" Her scream made the entire planet tremble. Her muscles began to swell uncontrollably as her Ki finally exploded in fury.

"HAAAAARGHH!"

Her hair became spiked and golden green, as an electric aura enveloped her. The legendary Super Saiyan had returned.

Yellow pupils and black sclera emerged, an uncontrolled green Ki erupted from her body.
