ZAFIRA'S POINT OF VIEW

After what happened in the company, I went to Kiel's place. I was waiting for him, but he didn't go home for almost three hours. I fell asleep outside his condo. It's almost six in the morning when Kiel arrives. I stood up and fixed myself.

"Love, can we talk?" He opened the door and went in. I followed him and closed the door.

"Love, please talk to me." I'm sorry." I said

"After that issue, do you think all my projects will not be affected? Fuck Zafira, just because you're drunk and jealous, you make such a big mess. Of course, it will not affect you since you are the one who is starting your career, but for me? Who has the fame, and do you think it won't affect me? For once, did you use your brain to think about any action you took?" I can feel his anger; I can see clearly in his eyes the emotion, even though he still looks calm.

"I'm sorry if I didn't think any of my actions affected you. Love me; forgive me, please. I'm begging you." I hug him tight, but he tries to let go of my hug. As he was able to remove my hand, he distanced himself.

"Don't you ever come near me again?" I don't want to hurt you; I don't know what I can do to you after this mess. I'm fixing the damage you did not just to me but to Odette too. I will not cancel our wedding, and that's final." He turned around, leaving me hanging on to what he said. After he uses me, he will just act like nothing happened. I can see in the reflection how serious she was. I was just smiling at her when her phone rang. I can see the name of the caller. It was Kiel who called her. She loudly spoke on her phone, trying to piss me off.

Kiel: "My queen, where are you?" I went to your condo, but I think you've already left.

"Are you still mad at me? My queen Zafira went here and begged me to come back at her, but I didn't. I pushed her away. I will do anything to make things better for us." A flash of a smirk on her face makes me piss off on her. I grab her phone away from her.

"What did you say, Kiel?"

"You beg me to come back." I slapped her hard in the face, but suddenly the elevator opened, and the media flashed what I saw when the elevator opened.

"Zafira, can you tell us what is happening?" I was about to answer when she suddenly went out of the elevator and

"Ask her how she begged for my fiance to come back at her." She left me with the reporters surrounding me. That bitch—I will get back at her.

"Is this true?" "You're begging Kiel for what, Zafira?"

"Tell us if he broke up with you; that's why you are begging him."

"What will happen in your first drama if you cancel?"

"Zafira, tell us what happened with you guys."

"I won't answer any of your questions." I immediately left them and got in my car. They were still crowding my car when I started my engine, but they moved away. I left the building and was on my way to my house. I throw my bag on the couch, screaming.

"That bitch, she's getting on my nerves; what did she think? Kiel just threw me away that easily; no way! I will make everything so Kiel chooses me over that witch! Argh!"

"Tsk! Tsk!" I turned my head and saw my brother sitting in the dining area.

"You traitor, what are you doing here?"

"Do you think you'll make them separate by posting that photo?" No, sister, they will find a way to fix it, especially Kiel. "Why are you telling me this? Don't you just care about your Odette?" He helped me stand up.

"I want Odette and you, like Kiel, to be with you; we can help each other to make them separate; we can get what we wanted. I can win Odette, and you will get your Kiel no matter what it takes. I will do anything to be with Odette, but not like you, who didn't think my move through and made such dumb actions that made everything worse." I knew that my brother when he wants something, will do anything to get it. I went to my room and took a quick bath. After my quick bath, I wore my pink slot dress and laid my hair down with a light coverage of make-up. As I grabbed my sling bag, I saw my photo with Kiel from when I first saw him at his concert way back a year ago. From being his fan to now being his girl, I will make sure I remain his girl no matter what happens. We will be each other's endgame. I went out of my room, and I saw Aurelius watching the news.

"Sloan Payne was brought to the emergency room as her second trimester started in pain. Some fans are praying for her safety and that of her baby. Sloan was the ex-girlfriend of Kiel Calvin Lopez, who was rumored to be the one who cheated in their relationship. But now Kiel's ex is facing a big issue: "He is cheating on his fiance."

Aurelius turned his head toward me.

"Odette was known as his fiance, yet you are known as nothing. having nothing against Odette or Sloan. Tsk! How sad when they say his name; it's either Sloan or Odette next to it, not yours. How pitiful you are." He turned his head again to the TV, focusing on the news. I clenched my hand while looking at the TV, which showed Kiel and Odette both went to the company yesterday. I'll make sure I'll be the one you need, the one you love, and no one else, Kiel! I went out of our house and drove fast to the press conference.

I fixed myself before I went out of my car. I took a deep breath. I'll make sure you'll regret every single word you say later if you don't choose me over that Odette. As I went out of my car, the media started surrounding me with flashes all around me.

"Zafira, can you tell me now what happened in the elevator?"

"Is it true, Zafira, that you are the one who begged Kiel to choose you over his fiancée Odette?"

"Zafira, some fans are telling me that you are so pathetic and famous, and that's the reason why you want to be on the Kiel side. Is it true? Security covered me and assisted me in getting into the venue. I was walking chin up while not answering any single question from the media. I need to calm myself and think about what will solve those problems if I want to win his trust again.

"Zafira, come here; everything is ready," Ivan said to assist me in going to my dressing room, where I will wait until we start the press conference. He gave me a paper of all the questions they approved and how we answered them. I read each one of the questions.

"Ms. Zafira, are you ready?" An assistant came into my dressing room; I nodded and went out. I saw Kiel sitting in front of the media with Ivan and some executives.

"This conference is regarding the issue of Kiel Calvin Lopez and Zafira Ajax. Before we start, we would like you guys to know that this is for confirmation, not misleading information or an unrelated issue. Who wants to ask first?" All the reporters raised their hands, and Ivan picked the girl reporter in the corner.

"Good day, Kiel and Zafira. This question is what we want to know, as do most of your fans. What will happen in your upcoming drama? Is still in progress or will cancel after the issue comes." Kiel held his microphone and cleared his throat.

"In the meantime, the director and staff, together with our other co-star, were still hanging out waiting for an update, but once we get a directory, if we will continue, we will let you know." Suddenly, one reporter stood up and grabbed the mic.

"What will you say about those fans telling your lunatic cheater? They even idolized you before because you'd been faithful to Sloan, yet after you broke up with her, you became a cheater. To the fact that even though you guys just arranged marriage by your both fathers for merging your company, you don't still think about her, and the worst is that you had sex with Zafira."

Wait, how did they know we had sex? It was not part of the post. I saw Kiel look coldly at the reporter.

"What I had and Sloan was part of the past, as I said before the conference started." This is just for confirmation about the issue recently, not in the past. But to clarify things and let you stop, I'll answer it. As a human being, I am not perfect. I have my flaws, and I and my fiance talked about them with our family regarding this issue yesterday. About Sloan, maybe I became too faithful before to understand what happened to us slowly. Yet I try my best to court and win my fiance again. Ms. Odette Lim. Yes, I had sex with Zafira. I know I may look jerky, but Zafira is sorry." He looked at the camera and me.

"I'm sorry for what I did and how I took advantage of your feelings about me. I thought being close to you could change how I feel about Odette, but I'm slowly missing her even though we are together. I'm sorry, but I will accept it if you will not forgive me and hate me. I will understand after what I did to you."

"I may have done something to hurt you, but I will do anything to win your trust again. I was dumb. Seeing you cry in pain last night made me realize I took advantage of what we had. Just because we are in an arranged marriage, I thought it was fine to cheat and be someone's boyfriend. But it was too late to realize I had already hurt you. I know it was hard for you to accept it, but I want to say in front of everyone, I'm resigning and going to be with my girl, which is what I was choosing." All the people in the press conference were shocked, even Ivan and the executive. I saw Ivan hold Kiel's wrist, and Kiel just smiled at him.

"You guys are right; I'm resigning or on hiatus in the meantime to prove myself to her family and her. I don't want to lose a second chance to be with the girl who makes me realize that even though I already have everything, there is only one thing I am scared to lose. And that thing was her. I don't want to lose her forever. I love you, Odette Lim; wait for me, my queen." He winked at Ivan and let go of his hand before he ran off from the venue. I just followed him, looking at him.

"Zafira, are you okay?" Ivan said this while tapping my shoulder. I fake a smile and look at him.

"Of course I'm okay." Now I know he will choose her and fix everything rather than be with me. I face the reporter with a smile; they all look pitiful at me.

"Zafira, what can you say about what just happened? After what you've done to him, he still chooses his fiance over you."

"It's okay; I understand why he chose her over me." A short but simple answer, yet for me it had meaning. We finished the press conference after it was done. I chose to lock myself in the dressing room. Hearing them knock on my door doesn't make me stop crying. I've done everything, yet he chose to run and go to her. What can I do? I'll lose everything with her. I fixed myself before I went out of the dressing room. I ran towards my car and drove fast. My eyes get blurry because my tears can't stop running.

I try to calm myself and focus while driving. Yet the pain I feel can't be removed. On the edge of the road, the straight road became a curve. I didn't expect what would happen next. A loud noise made my world stop. I can't feel any gravity after the loud noise.

"Ms., can you tell me your name?" Someone taps me, but I can't clearly see the person, so I close my eyes again.
