Mystery Behind The Ancient Sorcerers's Blessings For Protection of Kraken Village

Vent, one of the Four Dark Mages, entered the Shadow Rift as he opened up a dimension leading to the place where Shadow Crystals existed... He is right now standing at one of the deepest part of the dimension as he stared at the broken parts of Shadow Crystals...

"They really did their job, thanks to them that I can easily move without any need of that magic item." I muttered.

There was a curse, a curse that prevents anyone from entering this dimension unless Shadow Crystals get destroyed. However, the crystals are destroyed already so the curse protecting this dimension is removed. Although, the dimension was still protected by a second layer of defence where the protectors of crystals attacked me and tried to prevent me from entering but it was not hard for me to infiltrate.

It is good that I had already put the magic to delay the destruction of this dimension. It took a huge amount of magic energy but it was worth it.

"Before this dimension breaks and get destroyed..." I muttered as I had started to perform a certain ritual.

As the ritual came to an end, a figure had suddenly appeared in front of my eyes.

"Thanks for the help Mr unknown person for unsealing me and now you must-"

"Nevermind, I don't think I can defeat you since I just realised how strong you are..." He continued.

"....." I hadn't replied

"So what do you want? I am sorry but I am atleast expert at running away no matter how strong you are..."

"...You are free to do anything as I already know what you are going to do..... however, that is exactly what we want from you and that's why I unsealed you...." I replied.

"By the way, I wonder how did you managed to attack the Kraken village before? I believe that the Shadow Crystals, which was like a seal on me, sent Guz that time to check up what's happening. Did you do something?"

".....The fact I was able to attack the village that time for taking Elena with us, it was all thanks to "him"." I said.

"Anyway, you are free to go now...and find your comrades..." I continued.

"Later then, I hope I can repay you by killing you filthy humans hehahah."

He had used the portal magic and immediately disappeared from my sight.

"Those fool abiters and others did not even raised a question on how the village got attacked by bandits at the Kraken Village....or perhaps are they planning something?"

"No, I must be imagining things..." I muttered.

"I should leave now, this dimension will be shattered and eventually get erased as if it never existed..."

I had startes moving to leave this dimension as soon as possible and then after few minutes, I had finally came back to the real world at the Shadow Rift.

"Did you unsealed him, Vent?" asked First Mage.

"I did..." I replied.

"Alright then, you should probably go to the Azoth Cave along with "him" as well."

"Understood..."

Part 2- Chloe and others witnessed a terrifying truth about the real strength of the Giant Serpent...

We saw the serpent standing up as it transformed it's body into crimson red with high level of defence as well as it's attacks. It's scales on it's body looked even more both magically and physically enhanced by this transformation.

"No way..." I said while unable to believe what just happened.

"The serpent is not going to end this battle so easily I think." said Reina.

"I feel tired...I don't think I could keep for a long time...." said Kurt

"We all are tired, especially Ray and Elena but we can't just give up yet after coming this so far..." I replied.

"Chloe is correct, if we lose then who is going to protect the people of this Kingdom from Anti-Libra?" Elena agreed with me.

"Let's give it our best one more time everyone!" exclaimed Voila as she encouraged everyone.

"Oh well, it's now flying huh? Not gonna try to fight from the ground?"

As Ray spoke, we had noticed that there was so much open space for flying freely.

"Look! It's going to use it's dragon breathe again!" exclaimed Kurt.

"Everyone quick!" exclaimed Reina as she signaled us to stay with her.

She thrust the spear on the ground and made the barrier to protect us but-

"Argh."

"Ugh..."

"Gah!.."

The dragon breathe broke the barrier as if the barrier never had existed. The dragon breathe was constantly hurting us all as it never seemed to stop.

"At this rate!" I exclaimed.

We were trying to use all magic energy into defence and I used the buff on others as well. However, the attack was just too strong to handle it for a long time. Reina's barrier was shattered that was protecting us upto the last moment but now-

"It hurts!..argh..!" exclaimed Voila and Ryuji at the same time.

"No, I don't want this to happen! I don't want anyone to die! I want to stand up and face the serpent...!"

I was trying hard, trying to ensure the continuous pain from the continuous attack, to stand up but my body was not listening to me at all. The intense flames were too painful, we were atleast not turned to ashes because of the buff magic we used, I even used the my buff magic on others to protect them.

"I ...!?"

I fell down again as I tried to stand up due to the heavy pressure of the dragon breathe.

"Curse it.....ugh....at this rate.....we will be turned to ashes...." said Ray, who was also struggling to stand up.

Our pain level was increasing and, slowly but surely, we started to get even more critical more damages.

The serpent was not ordinary one whose dragon breathe will go away automatically just like other dragon breathe, which always get stops after certain period of time. But it was different here, it was like that the serpent was putting extra magic energy to keep the streak. The magic energy consumption increases if you spam too much but it looked as though that the serpent had so much magic energy left.

"I..... won't let you hurt my friends!"

Elena stood up as she continuously consumed her magic energy to repeatedly heal others, including us.

"Everyone! Please do something about the attack, I ...ugh.... can't....handle....my healing....magic for a long time..." exclaimed Elena.

Her healing abilities were strong and she used it at the correct time to instantly heal us all to avoid damages but it took huge amount of energy because the attack of the serpent was high level. Besides Elena had not much magic energy left and it could lead to serious disadvantage if she kept doing it but-

"Thanks Elena, just hang on there for a bit, I will do something about!" exclaimed Ryuji.

"I am also going to use my Flame dance again." said Ray.

Ray used his flame dance and Ryuji, after waiting for few minutes to consume magic energy, used his earth spikes at a bullet speed.

The flying Giant Serpent was hit by the bullet-speed earth spikes to disturb the balance of the serpent and Ray, at the right time, hit the serpent with the rising flames tornado as the serpent took the hit by surprise, thanks to Ryuji's help.

Everyone had able to escape the attack as the attack was cancelled by Ray and Ryuji's help. The serpent didn't looked hurt by the strong attack that Ray had put into his attack but we were glad that we escaped the assualt from the dragon breathe.

"This is bad! Both Ray and Elena, they are in a bad shape due to the consumption of too much magic energy!" exclaimed Kurt.

"I can still fight *Huff* *Huff* guys....*Huff*..." said Elena while she looked exhausted.

"No Elena, you won't take participate anymore. We don't want you to struggle more now." I replied since I was concerned about her.

"But Chloe-"

"Elena, please. It is is enough and we appreciate your help but you can't handle it any longer..."

"...I...." she stared at the ground, looking upset as if she was thinking that she didn't do anything at all.

"You really helped us Elena, be proud. We will take of it now. And Ray I will suggest you the same thing." I said.

"No....."

"...!?"

"What is this strange eerie sensation? It is just like before when I sensed something from Ray.". I thought.

"But Ray-"

"Wait, Chloe...."

Reina stopped me with her left hand, stretched like a horizontal barrier.

"But Reina!" I exclaimed.

"It's fine if Elena rests but look at his eyes, it is as if something triggered within Ray...did you notice? This series sensation from Ray?Maybe something is about to happen." Reina spoke as if she knew something was off about Ray.

"Is that so?" I turned my eyes towards Ray as I was concerned and confused.
