Chapter 101

I think I'm melted to the wall.

Seriously.

How does he do that? Alex has that effect on me and what he just did - how he just kissed me - I almost fainted. Because, wow. But Corey had to go and ruin it by interrupting with something that will hopefully only take a second. I really just want Alex to throw me on the bed and -

"Hey." He looks over his shoulder, his smile gone.

"Hey."

"You want to come meet Marty?"

"Marty? As in, your manager?"

"That's the one."

Okay, not expecting this. Trying to cool my body down and get back into a mindset of being around people, I head over to the door and follow Alex out into the main room again. I know everyone except the short man with jet black hair. He's on the chubbier side, and wears a black suit with grey stripes that I imagine costs more than my rent.
