Sandro took a deep breath, stepping forward. He channeled all the emotions and experiences that had brought him to this point. "My name is Sandro, and wrestling isn't just a sport to me it's a passion, a dream that I've had since I was a kid! I've trained hard and fought harder, and every step of the way, I've been driven by the desire to make a name for myself in this industry. I respect the legends who paved the way, and I'm here to prove that I belong. FCW is the next step in my journey, and I promise to give it everything I have. I won't just be another wrestler I'll be the best there is to ever grace this ring, and nobody could stop me from rising to the top."
Dusty, Steve, IRS, and Blackjack Mulligan could hear the passion and emotion Sandro poured out, the perfect body language, and the aura he exuded. What they didn't know was that Sandro was drawing from two lifetimes of emotion and passion for wrestling.
One from a past life where he could only dream of achieving this and the current life where he had a real chance to active that dream. The sacrifices from both lives fueled his resolve.
Satisfied with what they saw and heard, Dusty and Steve exchanged quiet words. They remarked on how Sandro was a very promising talent who could become an icon in the wrestling industry if guided correctly and if he maintained his passion.
Steve, as the founder and owner of FCW, knew that what they needed was a homegrown talent to prove that FCW and by association, WWE could cultivate their own stars, not just recruit from the indie scene.
After pouring out his passion, Sandro took a deep breath and said, "Thank you, everyone, for listening." The room erupted in applause, acknowledging the appreciation he deserved.
Dusty stepped forward and placed a hand on Sandro's shoulder. "You've got the fire, kid. Keep that passion burning, and you'll go far."
Steve nodded in agreement. "You're a rare talent, Sandro. We'll discuss it with the other producers, but I can tell you now, things are looking good. We'll inform you in a couple of days about our decision."
Sandro's heart soared when he heard those words. "Thank you, Mr. Rhodes, Mr. Keirn. I promise to wait for your news."
IRS and Blackjack Mulligan congratulated Sandro warmly. "You've got this in the bag," IRS said confidently. "And if not," Blackjack added with a chuckle, "Dusty and Steve will be dealing with us in an old wrestling beatdown."
Sandro, IRS, and Blackjack Mulligan shared a laugh together after Blackjack Mulligan said those words, as for Dusty Rhodes and Steve Keirn the two of them had gone into another area so they didn't hear what he said.
That evening, back at the hotel, Sandro called his parents to share the good news. "Mom, Dad, they were really impressed. I think I have a real shot at this! I could finally become a pro wrestler!"
His mother, Taylor, was overjoyed. "We knew you could do it, Sandro. We're so proud of you."
Jack, his father, added, "No matter what happens, you've already made us incredibly proud. Keep pushing, son."
The next few days were a mix of nervous anticipation and continued training. Sandro couldn't afford to slack off now. He reviewed everything IRS and Blackjack had taught him, ensuring that he was at his best. His phone was never out of reach, just in case the call came.
On the third day, as he was finishing up a workout, Sandro's phone rang. It was IRS who called him. "Hey, Sandro. Dusty and Steve have some news for you. Can you come over to the FCW facility?"
Heart pounding, Sandro agreed and quickly made his way there. Upon arrival, he was greeted by Dusty, Steve, IRS, and Blackjack. The atmosphere was filled with positivity and anticipation.
Dusty smiled warmly. "Sandro, we've made our decision. Steve, you want to do the honors?"
Steve nodded. "Sandro, we're impressed with your skills, your dedication, and most of all, your passion. We'd like to offer you a spot in our FCW training program, you just need to sign the contract here."
Sandro's heart leaped with joy as he heard what Steve said. "Thank you! Thank you so much, Mr.Keirn and Mr.Rhodes, I won't let you down. I promise to give it all of my passion."
Dusty clapped him on the back. "We know you will. Welcome to FCW, Sandro. Now you're part of our family here."
Sandro took a look at the contract that was out on the table, and after seeing that there was nothing wrong with the contract or any loophole that could be exploited by the FCW management, he signed the contract.
IRS and Blackjack Mulligan joined in on congratulating Sandro after seeing that he had signed the contract, joking with Dusty and Steve. "You two are lucky you accepted Sandro," IRS said with a grin. "Otherwise, we'd have to challenge you to a match."
Blackjack Mulligan added, "And trust me, it wouldn't end well for you."
Everyone in the room burst into laughter. Dusty responded with a playful smirk, "Oh, we'd take you two down and embarrass you, easy."
The legends traded friendly jabs, and the camaraderie in the room was palpable. Sandro, basking in the moment, felt a deep sense of gratitude and accomplishment. He excused himself and stepped out to make a call to his parents.
"Mom, Dad, I did it!" he exclaimed. "They accepted me into the FCW training program. I'm officially on the road to becoming a pro wrestler!"
Hearing this, Taylor couldn't contain her joy for her son. "We're so proud of you, Sandro! This is an amazing news! We always knew that you could do it."
Jack, on the side, also congratulated Sandro, "You've worked so hard for this, son. We're thrilled for you. We're coming to Tampa to celebrate with you and help you find a place to stay in the next couple of days."
Sandro felt a surge of happiness hearing their support. "Thank you, Mom and Dad. I can't wait to see the two of you."
After exchanging some more words of encouragement and love, Sandro ended the call and quickly dialed Windham's number. When Windham answered, Sandro could barely contain his excitement. "Windham, I did it! They accepted me into the FCW training program!"
Windham's voice was filled with excitement when Sandro told him the news. "That's incredible, Sandro! Congratulations! I knew you had it in you, man. Not a single doubt ever crossed my mind!"
"Thanks, Windham," Sandro replied, his voice earnest. "I couldn't have done it without your support. Now, I'm just waiting for you to join me here so we can train and wrestle together."
Windham chuckled. "You bet. I'll be there soon after I achieve what I won't here in football. Just keep training hard and if you can please don't get any championship before I come there, haha!"
Sandro was at first happy hearing that Windham would join him in the future, but soon laughed when he heard the next word Windham said. "Haha! No promises man, maybe when you meet me here I have become FCE Heavyweight Champion!"
The two of them exchanged a few more words before they ended the call because Windham had something to do and Sandro also needed to go back into the room.
Back inside the room, IRS, Blackjack Mulligan, Dusty Rhodes, and Steve Keirn had stopped trading friendly jabs and were waiting for Sandro to return. Seeing him come in, Dusty and Steve decided to lead Sandro, IRS, and Blackjack Mulligan on a tour around the FCW facility.
They started with the FCW arena, a space where Sandro could already envision himself performing. The atmosphere, even when empty, buzzed with potential. Next, they moved to the gym, filled with state of the art equipment designed to build strength and endurance. Sandro admired the setup, knowing that he would spend countless hours here honing his physique.
The locker rooms came next, a place for camaraderie and preparation. Sandro took note of the setup, thinking about the time he would spend here preparing for matches and bonding with fellow wrestlers.
They then visited the catering area, where nutritious meals were prepared to keep the wrestlers fueled and ready. The training area was last, filled with practice rings and various training apparatus.
Sandro nodded in approval at the quality of the facilities, though he noted that cleanliness could be improved. Still, it was clear that WWE paid significant attention to its developmental brand.
Especially since he knew that Vince McMahon's unpredictable nature often led to surprises, and WWE's creative vision was going downhill until the future leadership of WWE was succeeded by Triple H as CCO, due to the acquisition by TKO.
IRS, also impressed, turned to Dusty and Steve. "Dusty, Steve, I have a request. My youngest son, Taylor, has been training with us for years. Could he also enter a training contract with FCW? His wrestling skills and promo abilities are top-notch."
Dusty and Steve exchanged glances. They saw the potential in having the support of wrestling legends like IRS and Blackjack Mulligan to enhance FCW's legitimacy. "We'd be interested in seeing Taylor's skills," Dusty said. "If he meets the industry standards, we'd be happy to offer him a contract."
Sandro remembered that Taylor had indeed entered wrestling around this time, perhaps even earlier than expected. IRS and Blackjack Mulligan were satisfied with Dusty and Steve's response. At least Taylor was given a chance to prove himself.
Sandro seized the opportunity to ask IRS, "Why didn't I train with Taylor back when we were in Florida, Mr.Rotunda? We could have had the tryout together a couple of days ago together."
IRS smiled. "I wanted Taylor to finish high school before entering the wrestling industry, which he will do this year. As for you, Sandro, we didn't expect you to master the basic skills and control your body movements so quickly. Also, Taylor was still in school while you had graduated from university and had more free time."
Sandro understood and appreciated the thoughtfulness behind IRS's decision. "That makes sense. I'm glad things worked out the way they did."
The tour concluded, and Sandro felt more confident about his decision to join FCW. The facilities were excellent, and the support from legends like Dusty, Steve, IRS, and Blackjack Mulligan was invaluable. He knew that the road ahead would be challenging, but he was ready to face it head-on.
As the group gathered back in the main hall, Dusty spoke up. "Sandro, training starts tomorrow. Be here at 7 AM sharp. We'll be putting you through your paces."
Sandro nodded, determination burning in his eyes. "I'll be ready. Thank you for this opportunity, Mr.Rhodes."
Dusty nodded his head, satisfied with the politeness that Sandro had shown since they met, at least it showed what kind of character he had, which meant that he was willing to listen to advice and suggestions.
"No need to be so formal with me now, kid. Just call me Dusty and call Steve, Steve. Much easier to say and too many formalities isn't that good, as long as you remember the rules and do and what not to do, to walk be flying high in this industry." Dusty said to Sandro, patting him on the shoulder and imparting him with what could be said to be Sandro's first advice from Dusty Rhodes.
Sandro nodded his head and thanked Dusty Rhodes for his advice, then he took his leave alongside IRS and Blackjack Mulligan, where they had lunch together before going their separate ways.
Sandro spent the rest of the day preparing himself mentally and physically for the rigorous training that awaited him. He knew that this was his chance to prove himself, to show the world that he was destined for greatness in the wrestling ring.
That night, as he lay in bed, Sandro reflected on the journey that had brought him here. From his childhood dreams to the rigorous training with IRS and Blackjack Mulligan. He was ready to give it his all and make his mark on the wrestling world. With his parents arriving soon to celebrate his achievement and help him settle in Tampa, and Windham's encouragement driving him forward, Sandro felt more motivated than ever. He was on the path to greatness, and nothing could stand in his way.
