Be My Prisoner

Long ago, the planets took on the form of humans and started wandering around. Among these was Moon, the embodiment of Earth's moon, and her host planet, Terra, the embodiment of Earth. Moon's loyalty to Terra is undeniable. But there's also a mysterious pull between Moon and Venus, who’s another planetary embodiment. As Moon searches for a way to break the curse on the planets and escape Tory, a small town where they have been trapped, she finds herself drawn to Venus in ways she can't explain. Strangely, Venus has always harbored an unhealthy obsession with Moon, but Moon can't deny the attraction she feels towards him. Perhaps the attention could be good? Moon is torn between her duty to Terra and her growing feelings for Venus. There really isn’t a clean path. As they work together to break the curse, Moon and Venus find themselves drawn to each other more. But what about Terra? Moon feels guilty for the feelings she has for Venus and worries about hurting Terra. Moreover, if her feelings get the better of her, it could be the end for her bond with Terra. The planets could never escape. Venus, however, is determined to pursue his feelings for Moon despite the complications it may cause. Or will definitely cause. As the fog surrounding Tory becomes thicker and time runs out, a choice must be made - will she choose Terra or Venus? The next week, it became apparent that, for both her own Terra's safety, Moon had no choice but to pretend that she didn't know Neptune, to avoid being grouped with her. After all, as a moon she had exceptionally large powers, since the moon was so close to the Earth, but she couldn't go up against the Sun, who was many, many times more powerful than her. So, the next day, she didn't show up for the funeral, and only watched the town from her spot in the hammock, sipping peach tea that had long gone cold. Everything below her was made of small dots and shapes, but she could see a dull glow coming from one of the hills - along with many specks - probably where the planets were gathering in that exact moment. Moon felt like she should cry, but for some reason, she simply couldn't.

"Did you know that planets turn into stars when they die, Merra?" Asked a voice from behind her. This time someone raked their fingers through her curls. Moon didn't reply, but no, she had not known. Since she wasn't a real planet anyway, it meant she didn't necessarily need the information.

"She's a star now, Merra." Venus continued from behind her, and Moon still didn't say anything, or even turn around. The mug was now limp in her hands.

"But she's so far away." Moon whispered. Then, a breeze blew, and the fingers untangled themselves from her hair. By the time she turned around, there was no one there.

By the next hour, she had retired back into staring at the ceiling, but was now nervously chewing her nails, before suddenly an idea popped into her head.

Why did Venus fake killing Proxima?

Moon suddenly sat up, nails forgotten. She darted out of bed, shoved her boots clumsily onto her feet, and grabbed her backpack hung from the ever familiar sturdy vine, before slamming the door shut.

A minute later, a drop of water started sneaking out of cracks in the floorboards to form a merry group of water spirits who giggled and snickered to themselves, intertwining translucent fingers and batting graceful eyebrows. One particular spirit pushed her way to the front of the group and raised one slender hand, silencing the rest.

"Our master has returned. We must do all we can to help her." Aqua said regally.
