Battle Tower with 2 Bodies

A newbie author suddenly came up with an idea for his new novel to practice his writing skills, but he blacked out after thinking of a name for it. Waking up from his slumber, he found himself in a strange white room that healed all of his scars and injuries. That's not the only strange thing, as he also sees everything from 2 perspectives: one from his original body and the other from a girl who is completely unrelated to him. Now both bodies shared a consciousness, his consciousness, it tried to find an answer by checking through the memories of the two bodies, but it only found his, the attempt to find her memory was met with failure. Her memories are nowhere to be found, and the only clue it has is a hole in the middle of her shirt splattered with blood, indicating that she had lost her life due to a stab to the heart. Accompany them in their adventure within the place that he gave the name to: Battle Tower This novel is in the format of the character narrating their own adventures so there will be a lot of things omitted since they aren't omnipresence or omniscience and the narrator can lie.

Chapter 18 - Takedown

He fell down, and so did his subordinates, each with a knife lodged inside their heads. I did it faster than any one of them could react. I only have like 25 knives in total, including those three, so I have to use them somewhat sparingly, but even if all of them were lost, I still have other weapons stocked up.

Picking up my knives from their corpses after breaking out of the cell, I had a closer look at their bodies, and I saw something that shouldn't be here, pistols, of what kind I have no idea since I don't know that much about guns.

'What the fuck? They've got guns already?' were my thoughts at that time. As I was wondering how, I remembered that one of the guys who was one of the people who chose to stay here was a man in military uniform. Of course, if he's in lawful neutral, he wouldn't be helping Haden make a gun, but what if it happened before he reintroduced slavery? That might be it. I didn't know his name, though, or the names of most of the people here. I didn't even bother knowing their names because I got tired after the third batch and only remembered those who directly helped me.

After taking their pistols and putting them in my inventories, I found out the subordinates only have 1 mag each, and the leader guy has 3 mags on him. I was quite astounded at the amount of ammo they have.

Creation of something out of nothing required a lot of vigor. Like I did with the plants, I can only create a few until I'm completely out of fumes, but I'm pretty sure they aren't as dense as these. I didn't think of creating guns since I don't know how one is made or how to assemble it, nor did my floormates.

After dragging them into my cells, I went outside and found myselves surrounded by stone walls, which is not what I expected. The whole place was suffocating and overall felt like a prison. How did they build this in 6 months without any tools given to them? probably because Haden used his authority, very creative, I guess.

Wandering around, I saw 6 people comprised of 4 males and 2 females: two males in front, two males in the back, and two females in the middle. The people at the back and front each had pistols holstered on their belts, the two girls in the middle had their hands and feet chained, they were being led by the guys in front, they were also blindfolded, and they were wearing clothes that don't even look like proper clothes, just rags.

If I used the pistols I obtained a few seconds ago to kill them, I might alert everyone in the facility, and since I've never held a gun or used a gun before, I don't know if I will be able to hit the mark.

It was at this time that I remembered what I could do. An idea came to my head, and I executed it immediately, and Leonard's vigor went down a bit. Then I threw my knives at the two guys in the back. I teleported myselves behind the other two in front before they noticed something wrong, sending them into death's embrace with the knives I had.

Teleportation like this costs me little, even with both my bodies, but I still have to refrain myself from using it since it will make me dizzy pretty fast, and I don't think I would use it in succession to take down everyone here.

I picked up my knives and freed the captives. They told me there were 36 slavers in total, including the 4 I just killed, so I guess I have killed 8 out of the 36.

I asked if they wanted to follow me or not, and they agreed to follow me, so I gave them the two guns from the dead slavers, the other two I put in my inventories.

They scattered around and patrolled here and there, and taking them out was a very easy task. The problem is that since the women were blindfolded, they don't know the direction of the place, so I just walk around aimlessly in the facility.

When I went around and found a room that was making noises, I opened the door and saw two guys doing some horrible things to the girls here that I don't want to describe, so let's just say that the slaves aren't just working slaves, and all of the slaves in this facility are women, so you know where I'm going with that. It's safe to say those guys were dead the moment I saw them. I just released those girls.

Most of the places here are cells, so I just release ones that have people in them, quite a few actually. From what I heard from the girls, I found out that the male slaves are concentrated in the quarry at the mountain area and the field somewhere a bit far away from here, and half of their forces are concentrated in those bases while the other half are here in the female slave area.

I remembered that Mason told me that he took a weapon on his way out, but the more I heard about these slaver guys, the more confused I were, They don't use spears or swords, they all had guns, so how did he get that spear? The question was answered when I saw him in the infirmary room, getting treated by a doctor. It turned out Mason the bastard lied to me, and he was one of the slavers. With that in mind, I killed Mason the moment he was about to speak.

The doctor on the other side was saying that he was forced to do it and something along those lines. I can't judge since I don't know the situation fully, so I let those women be his judge, they were pissed, so he might be an evil doctor who's also one of the slavers. Who knows? I didn't, and I didn't want to know either.

After I finished taking care of most of the slavers in this facility, I finally found Haden's room. I opened the door and found him dead on the floor.

In hindsight I should't have made it 1000 floors but past me thought 100 was too low of a number so I added another zero.

I regret my decision but my mom didn't raise a a quitter.
