Chapter 17 - Source of Chaos

"What just happened?"

"Self-defense, as you can see. Anyway, if you guys have any questions, ask Eliza on the other side of the tower. I'm going to go and ask Mason some questions." With that said, I tied Mason's hands together with a makeshift rope and dragged Mason away, leaving Harry and everyone there. Mason swore and said some curse words but that ain't going to help him out of my grips.

I didn't go anywhere far since this place is just a place surrounding the big tower. I just let him lean on a boulder from my inventory. By now, he has given up trying to struggle since he can do nothing to me.

"So why did you try to kill me?"

"I need that floor owner's authority."

"For what?"

"Haden wants complete control of the safe zone. I don't want my freedom taken away."

'Well, it looks like I was right to get suspicious of him, I can't fully trust anyone these days, huh? Either he already that kind of person from the start, or the power corrupted him.'

"Didn't you already hear what I can do and still decide to do it?"

"Kids like you often hesitate to fight humans."

"Guess what? The abilities the tower gave me have a skill that made me immune to things that would hinder my judgment." I might be arrogant by revealing my abilities, but that's the least of my worries, I'm immortal after all, and as far as I'm aware, I'm the strongest players within the tower.

After asking him a few more questions relating to what Haden did since the time I left, damn, what he did was pretty messed up, he killed some people as an example and started to introduce slavery inside the tower, so his kindness was a front, he was just a psycho, but at least he helped me by telling me what to do to train.

"How did you even get this iron spear? Shouldn't he already have a full grip on the safe zone?"

"I stole it before I went here."

"Alright, fair, I guess."

"Can you release me?"

"Do I need to? It's not like I can stop you from going back to floor 1's safe zone using the menu, this is a warning not to attempt this again. Send my regards to Haden since I'm going to visit him soon." Having said that, I just took out the spear and stabbed his other legs.

"Urgh!" Mason once again grunted, and I just left him there.

While that was happening, I was answering people's questions as Eliza, and since it would be a hassle to answer everyone at once, I just asked them kindly to take their turn and ask, and surprisingly, they listened to me.

"Why did that man attack the boy earlier?"

"The people there didn't trust our word, and we apparently left them with a man with power who wants slavery back in society."

"That outrageous!" "Why did you do that?" A few people scolded me with sentences along these lines.

"I just learned about it. He was quite normal the last time I saw him, and I really didn't expect that development."

"We will try our best to solve the problem soon enough." (Leonard)

"How will you do that? You two are like what? Just 20 or something, what can you even do?" Someone from the crowd asked.

"We're going to just kill him, if you have a problem with it, tell me so I can consider you someone who supports slavery, and I will kill you the same way I will kill him. Beside, we are only 17." (Eliza)

"What!" Some surprised gasps came from the crowd, but I don't really care, farming on the field really did a good job of making me look older with how tough Leonard looks right now, and Eliza's appearance also got better, fit, and healthy. I could let myself out in the sun as Leonard, but I need some extra clothes for Eliza since I'd be extra careful if I were this pretty, and I am.

After all the stuff was done and some people started to attempt floor 1 with all the knowledge I gave them, my floormates returned to me with good or is it bad news? I don't really know. Anyway, the news is that no one from their family or relatives is here so I asked everyone to go back to floor 2's safe zone.

"Shouldn't we help the people fight through the floors?" Jenna questioned

"Well, if you want to, you can, but I don't really want any of you dying because of incompetent people." (Leonard)

"If there's nothing else, we will go and solve the problems that seem to plague the people of floor 1." (Eliza)

"Don't die." Jake said

"Haha, you know damn well I won't." After reassuring Jake and everyone, I opened the [Floors] option and I raised my brows.

It seems like Marie and another person were killed. I simultaneously touch the screen as both bodies go to floor 1.

The surroundings changed, and I found myself in a dark room with an iron bar door in front of us.

'What is this?' Is this how they treat newcomers? I should've expected it when he introduced slavery, I wonder how things went.' Were my thoughts.

""Anyone there?!"" I shouted at the door at the top of my lungs from both bodies. A few seconds later, we heard the footsteps of multiple people coming toward us and after a while, a man with black hair and black eyes wearing a somewhat neat outfit appeared in front of the bar door with his subordinates behind him.

"Well, well, well, who do we have her-" The man said with a condescending tone and stopped at the moment he got a good look at me, and after a few seconds he continued, "Uh, we got a proble-" I interrupted him again, with a knife of mine that I summoned from my inventory, it went into his brain, and he died on the spot. I have no idea who this guy is, but he looks like someone who worked as a slaver.

In the 6 months I could pick up some skills, one of my past time activities became practicing throwing knives. I mean, I got time stop, what was left were throwing knives and being a vampire. Since I can't be the latter, I just made do with the former option. I don't need to use time stop since I'm already strong enough to kill without that.
