The Crash

"MAYDAY! MAYDAY! MAYDAY!"

"HEADS FORWARD! HEADS DOWN! HEADS FORWARD! HEADS DOWN"

Amidst the screams of the passengers and the beeping of the plane, i couldn't help but admire the airline crew and pilots for their swift and orderly responses to the oncoming crash.

In this scenario there are 3 different types of passengers. The majority are panicking and reacting like:

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!"

The other group of people who had nothing to resort to chose to pray to their gods:

"LORD HAVE MERCY ON US AND SPARE OUR SOULS!"

"MAY THE LORD PROTECT US AND SHIELD US FROM HARM"

And the very few like me who are abnormally calm, most likely either accepting our fates or having the reality not sink in yet. As for me, it was the former. How did i end up here? Well i was on an overseas school trip to Spain and this incident happened midflight so we are not even remotely close to our destination but at least i can see some land under us...guess this is my final destination. As the air stewardesses continued to instruct and calm the passengers down, i reminisced about my last 17 years of life. I had a caring family that was neither poor nor rich and my own circle of close friends to support me. I was never bored with the internet being a thing and was entertained by an abundance of all kinds of media. It was a short but fun and satisfactory life. My only regrets being missing future episodes of my favourite anime and Netflix shows and also never overcoming my fear of heights. Ugh i never got a girlfriend either but whatever, guess i will die a virgin.

"YO HARU HOW ARE YOU SO CALM MAN WE GONNA DIE!"

"SHUT UP BOB I'M REMINISCING HERE!"

"DON'T GIVE UP YET BRO WE CAN STILL MAKE IT OUT OF THIS!"

"YOU ARE CONTRADICTING YOURSELF IDIOT!"

As my best friend, bobby, and i continued to argue, we were notified by one of the pilots to get ready for the crash and quickly placed our heads against the seats in front of us.

"BRACE FOR IMPACT! BRACE FOR-!"

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM*

I felt excruciating heat coming from my side and the last thing i saw were my feet getting engulfed in flames until my view was filled with a whole lot of orange. Then darkness engulfed me as i lost all bodily functions.
