Chapter 15: Oh Y/N

For about a week now items have been vanishing mysteriously. It can be something as little as a chip bag or something as big as a helicarrier (Yes they recovered it, but not how they expected it to. It had just appeared back where it was one day with no explanation!).

At first, everyone thought it was Deadpool playing a trick on them but when they asked him repeatedly about it and he denied every single time they did, they figured he didn't do it or was just too stubborn to admit he did. Either way, it doesn't stop the fact that items are disappearing or that somehow someone is breaking into the compound (Technically Deadpool isn't even supposed to be at the compound either but he always pops up anyway.)

Every Avenger has gotten an item stolen from them (Not all of them returned either).

Loki got a dagger stolen, he was heartbroken, to say the least as he had just gotten the dagger.

Bucky got his arm stolen, which was a laughing point for a couple of days until it was mysteriously back on when he woke up one morning (He's still freaked out about that.)

Tony got Dum-E stolen which despite always saying how much he hated the thing was actually really sad about. That is until he found it in one of the restrooms in the tower (Everyone could hear Tony's threats to dismantle it.)

Bruce got his favorite vial stolen (With nothing in it luckily), but he was still sad about it anyway.

Nat didn't sleep because she was trying to catch the thief, so her sleep got stolen.

Deadpool got his arm stolen as well, so he had to walk around the tower with a baby arm for a couple of days (Nothing new for him, however, the other Avengers were a little weirded out and that's saying a lot as they have seen a lot of weird things).

Peter didn't get anything stolen, surprisingly, Tony conspired that it was because Peter was too precious for the world and nobody would want to hurt him.

The others got items stolen similar to that matter and no matter how the Avengers searched they couldn't find the culprit. Some still suspected Deadpool (Nat, who was becoming even more paranoid from the lack of sleep) Which he would always counter with asking if he would cut his own arm off, to which most would reply yes.

Everyone was getting sick of it but Cap was the one that surprisingly broke when his shield got stolen for the 5th time that week.

"That's it! Whoever is stealing our stuff, show yourself!" Cap yelled angrily as he stomped into the common room.

"Finally somebody asked! I was wondering when you would try that" A mysterious person says as they walk out from the corner.

Once they were out of the darkness of the corner their blue skin and blood-red eyes could be seen. Thor immediately summoned his hammer and got ready for battle. The rest of the Avengers in the room (Minus Loki who was looking a little pale) followed Thor and grabbed their weapons (Steve put his fists up.)

"Oh, I'm sorry Captain, here's your shield back!" The person mocks as they throw the shield at Cap who catches it.

"Who are you?" Tony shouts at the person.

"I'm sorry did I not introduce myself? I'm Y/N Laufeychild, ruler of Jotunheim, and elder sibling of Loki." Y/N says mischievously.

"I beg your Pardon," Loki says, confused.

"You heard me Little Bro, it's nice to see you after all these years. The last time I saw you was when you were a wee baby" Y/N says taking a step closer to Loki, causing Thor to scoot protectively over to Loki.

"I'm supposed to believe you?" Loki scoffs.

"Yes, you are supposed to believe me because, I wanted to let you know that father never meant to abandon you, but merely keep you safe, but then Odin came along" Y/N pauses and looks over at Thor with a scowl on their face "And decided to 'adopt you' because father 'abandoned' you. I understand why you killed him, he was never the kindest and you were raised to hate him and even thought he abandoned you!" Y/N finishes.

Loki looks like he is debating with himself.

"Why come now? Why not so many other times on Asgard or even when we went to Jotunhiem?" Loki asks viscously.

"I could not reach you on Asgard, and I did not recognize you when you went to Jotunhiem, not with the guise the AllFather put on you," Y/N says sadly.

Loki nods his head solemnly "You may drop your weapons they will cause us no harm. Trust me if they were lying I would know"

Y/N nods their head gratefully.

"Apparently mischief runs in the family" Tony murmurs quietly annoyed.

"We have much to talk about little brother," Y/N says motioning for Loki to sit down.

"Yes we do but I would not like to do so alone" Loki states.

"We will not have your whole team here Loki, you may choose 2" Y/N states.

Loki nods understandingly.

"Peter and Bucky, would you stay," Loki asks quietly.

"Yep!" Peter says happily.

Loki looks at Bucky "Sure Loki" Bucky says simply.

"IF you dare hurt my child…. I mean Peter! Then you won't ever breathe again." Tony states trying to be threatening but after the mix-up of words is failing.

"Of course," Y/N says.

"Good to know who his favorites are," Shuri mutters as she walks out with the rest.

"Ok, now brother, I would like to know how you got here. No evading the questions I will know." Y/N says defiantly.

"Well, if he doesn't feel comfortable then he shouldn't have to…" Peter says quietly.

"It is fine, Spider Child I can tell my sibling what has happened." Loki says.

Peter nods his head encouragingly and Bucky looks like he's intruding.

"I can leave if you would like," Bucky says suddenly.

"No, No I wish that you stay James," Loki says.

"Bucky, and ok" Bucky corrects.

"Go ahead Lil Bro," Y/N says encouragingly.

"Well I will shorten the story, basically I found out I was adopted and a Jotun, and then I killed Laufey to prove to Odin I was a worthy son and tried to destroy Jotunheim which I regret greatly by the way I was not emotionally stable at the time. The rainbow bridge got broken I let go of the staff, making me fall in the void. Thanos found me tortured me so on. Influenced my mind and then forced me to take over Midgard but the Avengers stopped me and figured out what was happening and let me live here." Loki listed out dully.

"Odin" Y/N scowls.

"I once again apologize for Jotunheim, I was not stable and just wanted Odin's approval," Loki says apologetically..

"All is forgiven, you have paid your dues," Y/N says.

"Are you better now? Now that you have escaped Thanos' grasps?" Y/N asks.

"Yes, the Avengers are equivalent to my family now. Do not tell them this or it's the last thing you'll do" He says the last part to the other two.

Peter giggles and Bucky chuckles at the threat. Bucky and Loki make eye contact for a minute before breaking away. Y/N notice's this contact and smirks.

"And who is this gentleman?" Y/N says with a glint in their eye.

"This is James," Loki says.

"Hello James, I am glad my brother has found someone suitable to court." Y/N states still smirking.

Loki looks a little red and Bucky looks confused.

"Courting? As in like dating?" Bucky says looking at Loki.

Loki nods his head.

"Oh, uh we aren't dating... Courting," Bucky says.

"A Shame. Perhaps someday?" Y/N says knowingly.

Bucky looks like he just wants to disappear and Loki is shaking his head disdainfully.

"Now I have two of them to worry about," Loki says in mock disgust.

Bucky chuckles regaining the little sanity he just lost during that conversation (Like he has any to spare).

"Your team may come back in. I have something to discuss with them." Y/N says.

Clint falls from the ceiling vent.

"I swear I wasn't eavesdropping," Clint says unconvincingly.

"Yeah, and I'm the president," Bucky says with a chuckle.

Y/N shake's their head disdainfully. Loki sighs.

"You may grab your other teammates now brother, take the spiderling with you," Y/N says kindly.

Loki nods and motions for Peter to join him, Clint has already disappeared back into the vent. Bucky goes to follow them but Y/N stops him.

"I want you to know that if you hurt him in any way I will hunt you down and kill you." Y/N hisses menacingly.

"I know you are not stupid enough to let this opportunity go James" Y/N says sweetly.

"I, um, call me Bucky." Bucky pauses a second.

"You can trust me when I say I will not let harm come to him if I can help it." He says solemnly.

Y/N nods their head slightly as the other comes in.

"There are two things I would like to say," Y/N says out loud to the room.

" First of all thank you for taking care of my little brother, I have not been able to in the past. Another thing is a proposition." Y/N pauses dramatically "I would like to stay here for a day or two and visit occasionally, to make up the lost time."

"That sounds reasonable," Tony says without waiting for anyone else to say anything.

Both Pepper and Steve look over at him with the disappointed mom look.

"We can't deny Loki's sibling!" Tony defends.

Pepper sighs but doesn't say anything. Steve nods reluctantly.

"Thank you all for your most gracious manner," Y/N says respectfully.

Loki nods, looking tired.

"This has been a weird week," Bucky states.

"I think we should all head to bed," Steve says.

Groans of protest could be heard around the room.

"What if there is an emergency tomorrow!" Cap yells above the protests.

A few people sigh but everyone agrees anyway.

"Loki show your sibling to your room." Tony says.

"Did you mean their room Stark?" Loki asked.

"No, I mean you're sharing a room." Tony states.

"Ok then follow me Y/N," Loki says mischievously.

Loki and Y/N leave the room. Bucky looks around at the others that are still in the room.

"Why did no one tell me about him?" Bucky says.

"Not our business to tell," Tony says.

"True, I just heard a lot is all" Bucky says grimly.

Tony nods.
