Midgard

His ship landed with a thud, he had landed in the same area as last time. Quickly he left the ship, he was wearing more simple clothes than last time.

A dark tunic with very dark grey patterns that ran through the clothing, a dragon leather belt that had a silver reflective buckle and dark simple leather trousers and boots.

His platinum hair blew in the sudden wind as the ship's door opened with a woosh, the magic of Earth welcomed him by playfully dancing around him.

He touched the ground quickly, sending a small burst of magic into the Earth.

The skys were cloudy and the floor was wet, it had clearly been raining recently.

Good old England.

He eyed the nearby village through a gap in the trees and widened his eyes in shock.

The village had almost tripled in size, they even had thick stone roads that seemed to run through and around the now burgeoning town.

A small dark stone castle was built on a nearby hill overlooking the village, a lord of some kind must have moved in.

Huh

He did remember giving one of his spears to a man named George who lived in the village; he wondered if he was still here.

It had only been around 6-7 months since his last visit.

He closed the ship behind him with an absent minded click as he tapped on the rune that locked and camouflaged the ship.

He didn't want anyone running into it.

He did plan to visit Thena and Gilgamesh first, but the prospect of the village being completely revamped and built anew was too exciting.

He looked to his left, the deep blue sea was only a mile away. He had only gone once or twice in his last visit, they did have a rather nice beach.

Aerion turned back to the village and started to walk towards the thriving community, his hair and clothes quite obviously attracting eyes to stare at his unusual appearance.

Whispers exploded around the Asgardian, it made sense.

He remembered telling a lot of people of his Godhood in this specific village. Word must have spread, to these people he was either a madman or a God.

A man with brown hair and one lazy eye was quite familiar with "William!" Aerion said in recognition.

The man grinned "My Lord" he said reverently as he bowed towards the Asgardian.

Aerion blinked "What?" He said dumbly, William called him Aerion last time. He just pronounced it rather oddly.

William simply smiled "We knew you would return" he said with a grin as people suddenly circled around them, watching with eagerness. "Especially after blessing us" he said with a shaky laugh.

Aerion blinked, what the fuck.

He looked around the village and suddenly realised something, the whole place was saturated in magic. He quickly, rudely pushed through the crowds as he walked further into the village.

The very ground was saturated in magic, his magic, his divine energy was flooding this place.

He suddenly spied in the distance large flourishing fields of crop, wheat?

He didn't know much about wheat but he knew it took a while to be fully grown usually finishing in the summer months.

It was currently the middle of winter, he sensed closer and could almost see a mix of his and earths magic that seemed to be circulating through the fields.

"By the Gods" he said softly as he turned around looking at the flourishing village, he looked to his right and saw dozens of sheep all grazing in a large pen.

How the hell did this place get dozens of sheep in 7ish months, his magic had somehow…blessed this place.

He didn't know he could do that? Could he do that or was it earth just using his magic, he turned to the sudden sounds of clashing steel and walked further into the village.

He was only a dozen or so metres from the dark stone castle once he came across the source of the sound, almost a dozen young men were all training in a large empty field.

They swung blunt swords back and forth while a young black haired man coached them, the man was familiar as was the large spear the man held in his hands.

It was "George!" Aerion said happily as he saw the man, the slightly older man grinned at the sight of him.

"Aerion!" The man shouted back with joy in his tone, Aerion walked over and grasped forearms with the human.

While he was on Earth he had given away about 5 spears, mainly to people he thought had great potential as warriors.

George was one of those people, the man's talent with a spear was truly extraordinary. Not comparable with his own of course but it wouldn't surprise him if the man could give him a fun spar even with his limitations.

"Where have you been?" George asked curiously, as the young men he had been training turned to the interaction with awe on their faces.

"Asgard mainly" Aerion said with a smile "Oh, and I fought a dragon" he bragged with a grin as George's widened eyes expressed his shock.

"Truly?" George asked "I must find a dragon to slay one day soon" he said with a wistful grin. Suddenly he spun the familiar spear in his hands "Spar?" George offered.

Aerion grinned as a spear suddenly conjured into his hands, ignoring the gasps of shock from the young men George had been training, he blocked a quick strike from George.

Well, very quick for a human actually.

The sounds of the spears slicing through the air and digging into the grass below rang into the field as Aerion effortlessly dodged and ducked past George's stiles.

The small group of training men watched in shock as the platinum haired man quite easily stepped in and out of the fast attacks with ease.

George was trying to push Aerion back, he already knew the plan the black haired man was trying to enact. He wanted Aerion to stumble or trip in one of the dozens of fox holes littered around this part of the field.

Aerion had decided to end this quickly however, no matter how skilled George was.

He was still human.

Aerion effortlessly parried away a thrust of the spear, for the first time using his spear in this fight. George was left wide open, Aerion quicker than the man could see pressed the spear against the human's throat.

George groaned in annoyance as he yielded "I had no chance".

Aerion snorted "No, sorry friend" he said with a smile. "So what's with the training?" He asked absentmindedly.

George grimaced "Pirate attacks" he said as he turned to the sea in anger. Aerion blinked, then he eyed the ocean as well in slight concern.

"How often?" He asked, he did like this village and now as his magic permeated the area and allowed it to grow so much he felt a slight attachment growing to the place.

"Twice so far, both in the last two moons" he said with a clenched jaw "They pillaged our fields… they took slaves" he said the last word with a clenched fist as anger radiated from his body.

Slaves? He honestly didn't remember much history when it came to pirates or slavers, this could be blackbeard for all he knew.

"They have just now started attacking?" Aerion asked in confusion as he eyed the fields that were full and well not pillaged…

George nodded "Well we have far more wealth that we once did, we're targets now" he said with a grim tone. "Though I must thank you"

"For?" Aerion asked.

"The blessings, i didn't believe it at first but look at those fields" he said with a slight smile as he gestured towards them "Those were burned to the ground, now they're flourishing not even a full moon later"

It didn't even take a month, his eyes widened as he eyed the fields in shock. That…that might be too fast he thought to himself.

The sheer wealth this place could potentially collect in a singular year was astounding for such a small village, and going by the roads, new castle and large expansion they had clearly been selling the large amounts of wheat they could collect.

"I assume you've sold a lot of that wheat?" Aerion asked, George nodded.

"It sells for far above normal value in the winter" he said with a smirk. "Sheep as well, those damn things breed like rabbits, we have to sell multiple times a month, can you believe that?" He asked incredulously.

Aerion really may have done too much, this was surely suspicious to neighbouring settlements?

"So who lives in the castle?" Aerion asked as he nodded to the thing, it was quite the sight in the dark stone.

George snorted "They built that for you" he said as he eyed the thing.

Aerions eyes widened in shock as he looked up at the thing "Uh, wow" he said dumbly.

That was amazing, this place built a castle for him. He almost felt like he wanted to just pump even more magic into this place because of it.
