CH 17: Talking With Vi

As the Firelights flew around, a fight began immediately. It seemed like they were prepared for a large fight, because there were quite a few of them. Something that Slathilia appreciated. 'Oh well, just more food for me then!'

Jinx began to go all out with her Minigun, Vi began to beat the shit out of those who came for frontal combat, and Slathilia began to rip and tear with his whip-blades. (A/N: Like Kratos.) His biomass extended from his hands as he gripped them, before swinging the large blades that had formed at the ends around.

He swung his blade, ripping a Firelight in half before eating him, just before spinning and dodging, then biting the neck of someone who attacked from behind. Easily ripping his head clean off before Consuming him too. Gripping his biomass, he brought a whip-blade down in a hammering motion, crushing another one before swinging to kill another one.

His smile would have scared a demon as he continued moving. Annoyed with how they were consistently flying around, he leaped towards one of them. Effortlessly catching him by the face and, when reaching the wall, slamming his head into the wall. Making a disgusting painting of blood, bones and brain matters as he didn't waste food.

"Grr..." He growled when a capture stone was thrown at him, before exploding and trapping him in place. As he glanced back, he saw a few Firelights trying to attack him when he's down. He smirked. Suddenly, black and red spikes of biomass sprung out from his body, freeing him, and killing the ones who tried to attack him.

Their corpses hung by the spikes, looking like a hellish scene as their killer smiled widely. Giggling happily, he quickly consumed them before flipping higher on the wall, dodging the strike that was coming.

"Aww, what happened? Too angry your widdle widdle friends are dead?" He mocked, speaking childishly to add salt to the injury as his attacker roared :"Hahaha does it let you know how fucking mad I get when you bitch around my business?!" Pulling his weapon back, he tried to attack the monster-in-human-flesh who was sticking to the wall and looking down at him. But just before he could attack, his arm was ripped right off.

Causing him to scream in agony as Slathilia's fangs extended to a terrifying level before biting the top of his head right off. Needless to say, he quickly ate him too. He was a monster, not someone who'd waste food.

'Wait, hold up, gotta stay focused.' Remembering his plans, he forced himself to calm down. What was his plan? He needed to get kidnapped. So that he could have a little bit of a private conversation with Vi. Not really important, but just for the fun of it. He wanted to talk to her, so she could choose her standing.

Leaping towards where the fight was going, he found a chance to whisper to Jinx :"I have a plan. Don't worry about me." Confusing her. But she didn't have much time to get confused, because she was too busy fighting. At the given chance, he let himself get kidnapped along with Vi and Caitlyn. They also managed to get the Hextech Gemstone Slathilia had given to Jinx. Honestly, he didn't get why they didn't just kill him right there.

Or at least try to. He was like their number 1 murderer. No one had killed as many Firelights as him. So he didn't know why they didn't just go ahead and at least try to kill him when they got the chance.

'Heh, what, are they gonna crucify me? Try to make a big deal out of killing me with a ritual or something?' He couldn't help but chuckle internally. They wouldn't even know when he escaped. He did feel bad for Jinx when he heard her scream from the distance when faking passing out, but he could only apologize and make it up to her later.

A little while later, as they were chained up in a room with their heads covered with bags, sounds of Caitlyn struggling against her restraints could be heard. Slathilia and Vi on the other hand were just chilling. Even though the noiret's chains were a lot more.

Caitlyn :"Ugh... ugh! I knew it was a mistake trusting you!"

Vi :"You've been a real picnic yourself."

Caitlyn :"I'm not the one who walked us into, not one, but two of Silco's traps."

Slathilia :"Wow, your stupidity is out of this world. Didn't you see how I was killing them? And you actually put us together?"

Vi :"He's right. This isn't Silco, it's someone else."

Caitlyn :"And you just trust his words? How do you know?"

Slathilia :"Wow, rude bitch."

Vi :"One, yes, I do. Two, cause we'd already be dead."

Slathilia :"Oh, c'mon, you're exaggerating it... alright, maybe not... depends, honestly."

Caitlyn :"Oh, very nice. When were you planning to tell me that your lunatic sister and her insane boyfriend work for him?"

Vi :"Just as soon as you came clean about what the hell you're really doing down here! Wait... hold on... boyfriend?!"

Slathilia :"Hehe yeah, about that..."

Vi :"What the fuck, Thilia?! Is that true?!"

Slathilia :"Well, yes. Me and Jinx have been lovers for quite a while."

Vi :"You're actually dating my sister?!"

Slathilia :"Hey, you're making it sound way too bad! You're making it sound like I cheated on you with your sister or something."

Vi :"Wha-what does that even mean?! That's not what I meant!"

Slathilia :"Then why are you so annoyed? Geez, calm down."

Vi :"Calm down?! I just came out of prison and find out my little sister is dating. Of course I'd be mad!"

Slathilia :"Well, sorry she's not a monk."

Vi :"Thilia, I will beat the shit out of you."

Slathilia :"Alright, geez."

Vi :"Sigh, so it's the truth? You and Powder are dating?"

Slathilia :"Yes, that's true. Also, she goes by Jinx now. She said it herself."

Vi :"She's not a Jinx! God, I was so fucking stupid for saying that!

Slathilia :"Yup, that you were. But oh well, it has happened, I guess."

Vi :"What happened when I was gone? I knew shit was messed up, but this is just fucked up. The entire Undercity is Silco's playground, everybody's a drug addict for Shimmer, Powder acts crazy, and you two are dating!"

Slathilia :"Hey, come on, don't put the last part with the bad things! Are you that mad I'm the one dating her?"

Vi :"I'm not mad that you're dating her, I'm mad and shocked that she's dating! Sigh, what happened?"

Slathilia :"Huh? Well, after you went missing, we all thought you died. You never came back, so that thought was just strengthened. Jinx was traumatized after the... you know, that whole shit. You leaving her just completely scarred her."

Vi :"Is... is that why she acted like that back there?"

Slathilia :"Sigh, yeah. Ever since then, she started to hallucinate. She started to see Mylo and Claggor. And sometimes, even you. The problem is, none of the hallucinations bring anything happy. Whenever she has an episode, it's just a shit show. I try to calm her down, and things have been a lot better. But she still has them when she's stressed out. You saw it for yourself."

Vi :"... I never should've left that night..."

Slathilia :"Yeah, that's why I told you you'd regret it."

Vi :"Fuck off."

Slathilia :"Eh, just stating facts. That night, Silco found us. He seemed to want to kill us, end the whole shit. And I was ready to save us. Save Jinx. But he decided otherwise. Instead, he took us in. Took care of us."

Vi :"Oh please, that asshole just took advantage of you. Don't you remember? Vander's dead because of him!"

Slathilia :"Vander's dead because of a grudge between them. There is a whole story between those two. One that isn't the time to talk about. Silco took us in then. Treated us like his children. We could have been dead if not for him. Jinx could've been. And unlike what you know of him, he cared about us. Loved us like his children. Believe me, Jinx's mental state would have been a lot, lot worse if not for his help."

Vi :"I-I don't know... I don't know, this whole situation is too much!"

Slathilia :"Yeah, well, many things have changed. You'll need time to get through everything."

Vi :"Sigh, at least something we can agree on. What about you two? What happened?"

Slathilia :"Well, me and her were just friends at first. I was the only one she could trust. With time, our relationship even became one of siblings. We hung out together all the time. We were basically inseparable unless the situation called for it. Well, Jinx didn't like us separate, so there's that. And a few years back, we started dating."

Vi :"Sigh, guess she really grew dependent on you, huh? Can't blame her. Not after everything she went through..."

Slathilia :"Heh, yeah. She was basically latched on to me even before we started dating. She wouldn't even sleep separately from me- oops."

Vi :"Wait... you two slept with each other?!"

Slathilia :"Hey, not my fault. She wouldn't sleep separately!"

Vi :"Yeah, but you still slept with her!"

Slathilia :"Oh, c'mon, it wasn't anything like that! It was just actual sleeping so she would be comfortable! We didn't do anything weird. At least not until dating- uh, fuck."

Vi :"Oh, you motherfucker!"

Slathilia :"What, c'mon! We've been dating for years, of course we'd have sex by now! And boy oh boy, things got wild after we started dating."

Vi :"Shut up! You better wish I don't get my hands on you, you little shit!"

Slathilia :"Oh, please, you're being unreasonable. We're lovers, of course we'd get freaky."

Vi :"Slathilia, one more word about what you've done to my innocent little sister and I swear-"

Slathilia :"Innocent?! Bitch, she was the real freak! She used to peek at me in the shower, thinking I didn't know she was there."

Vi :"Thilia! Shut up, you gross asshole!"

Slathilia :"Alright, alright! Geez, fine. Let's just... let's just calm down, alright? Let's not shout."

Vi :"... Phew, we're gonna have a real long, actual conversation later. You hear me?"

Slathilia :"Alright, fine."

Vi :"Good."

Slathilia :"Hey, Vi?"

Vi :"What?"

Slathilia :"Calm down, you aggressive bitch. We called a ceasefire for now."

Vi :"Fine, what do you want?"

Slathilia :"Remember what I told you back then? That night?"

Vi :"Yeah... yeah, I do... very clearly..."

"I know you're mad, and I don't blame you. You have every right to be angry. But if you leave now, you may forever regret it afterwards."

Vi :"Why are you bringing it? Do you want to make fun of me?"

Slathilia :"No, I don't. I just wanted to remind you that I was right."

Vi :"This bitch-"

Slathilia :"Calm down, I'm not trying to be an asshole. I'm not trying to rub it in your face. That'll need to wait for later. I just wanted to point out that what I say in these situations is right. You had to make a choice that day, and made a choice. And because of anger, because of not listening, you regret it. Now I'm telling you, the next time we meet, you're going to need to make a choice. One that if you choose falsy, you will regret it again. So I need you to remember, what I say is for your and Jinx's sake."

Vi :"What? What are you-"

Slathilia :"Just remember that, alright? That was kinda the entire reason why I'm here. Well, about 70%. I also wanted to chat a bit."

Vi :"Wait, hold on! What are you-"

Slathilia :"But anyway, since I told you what needed to be said, I gotta go back now. Jinx needs me. Especially now. See you later, and keep what I said in mind. Alright, bye."

"What?! Thilia, how are you even gonna get out-" Vi called out, but her only answer was the sounds of chains falling on the ground. The sound echoing in the quiet room as Slathilia, now in his Symbiote form, slithering on the ground as an alien slime or moving as tendrils to get out of the Firelights' base.
