"Good luck, safe travels!" Howard shook hands with Doug.
Such sacrifices for the sake of all humanity ultimately require someone to step up. Regardless, Doug's spirit is truly admirable to Howard.
"I will. I believe that once we reach the capital, we will find a way to cure Allen!" Doug said, casting a worried glance at Allen.
Allen's condition was worsening, and given the rate at which the tumors were expanding, he might not last until they reached the capital.
"Our mission is to escort Professor Piers and the medical team to the capital. That's the primary task."
"Don't let me hold back the team. When necessary, you must abandon all burdens. This is an order, do you understand?" Allen commanded Doug in a stern voice.
"But..." Doug's eyes showed a hint of reluctance.
