[Lisa Lavender](Original Poster)

Whether you're in Vale, Vacuo or Mistral, you've no doubt heard about the new video game 'Huntsman Legends' that has taken the world by surprise.

Huntsman Legends, a video game created by 17 year old Wynne Schnee. The heir of the Schnee Dust Company has quickly made his name known to the world with his game sitting at the top spot with no close competitor.

Even huntsmen and huntresses aren't exempt from the excitement as some of them attest to the games 'awesomeness'.

Schnee Entertainment, the company which released the game, is managed and operated solely by Wynne Schnee as a branch of the main SDC.

His name has come to be known and spread worldwide and we can only imagine what he has in store for us.

Still can't believe it. This guy is only one year older than me. What does he have that I don't?

-[GhoulDrago]

(Replied)

Money, time, resources…a brain?

Need I go on?

-[CardinTheGreat]

(Replied)

Burnnnn!

But seriously, this game is sweet. None of you bots can even scratch me.

-[ILoveCookies]

(Replied)

That's only because you're a cheater!

A lying cheating cheater! That goes for you too @SnowWhite.

-[SnowWhite]

(Replied)

It's not my fault your skills are subpar. Don't blame me for your losses.

-[WannabeKnight]

(Replied)

How do I keep losing?!

Can someone! Anyone! Just anyone please sponsor me! I need to get the limited skin before it's gone.

I promise I'll pay you back.

-[HeroOfMantle](Verified Huntress)

(Replied)

People are suffering in mantle and they're making video games?!

This is just another ploy from the Schnee to take even more money from the people who actually need it.

-[SunnyDragon]

(Replied)

Why so butthurt?

It's not like they're being forced to play.

If they need the money so badly then why are they spending it on the game? Sounds like a personal problem to me.

-[Bruh]

(Replied)

Don't even bother with her. She'll drag you into a long argument about how the Schnees are plotting to take over Mantle.

The last guy's still traumatized.

My poor wallet…

The threads went on and on with questions and praises about the game and a few insults being thrown among themselves.

The toxicity of the game was present even in this world as were the abundance of teenagers and young adults who easily swipe their credit card at every inconvenience.

It was ironic but he himself also played the game under an alias that was obvious yet discreet. Weiss did the same and with her being the first to play the game and having more experience, she was easily one of the top players.

With how many times Weiss used her dilation glyphs on him, he'd had learnt how to use it as well as gotten general tips from her on how to use their shared semblance.

He hadn't stopped his workouts but it was getting harder to improve each day. With reactive adaptation reacting to his workouts and developing muscle, he was quickly reaching the limit that his workouts could take him.

Thankfully his adaptation was smart enough to not make him unproportional with muscles the size of The Rock. He retained his lean build but his muscles were clearly defined and visible when he wasn't wearing obscure clothing.

Glancing at an offer from Atlas Academy to advertise their enrollment, he pocketed his scroll as he turned to Weiss who just finished loading her boxes into a car.

It was finally time for her to go to Vale and attend Beacon Academy. The girl was happy to leave the eyes of Jacques but was reluctant to leave Wynne behind.

This was evidenced as she gave him a tight hug.

"It's okay. It's not goodbye forever, you know." He teased.

Weiss pouted as she pulled back, crossing her arms in indignation. "Of course I know that. I'm not a child."

He chuckled as he ruffled her neat and organized hair. "Hey!" She complained but didn't remove his hand.

"Stay safe alright. And call if you need anything. I'm serious." He said with genuine worry, prompting a nod from her.

They shared one last hug before she was ushered into the car, waving to each other as she was driven to the port.

Wynne made his way back into the manor and towards his room, the warm smile slowly fading as he approached. He had a few things he needed to do but he waited for Weiss to leave for Beacon.

He didn't want her accidentally getting mixed up or involved. As he entered his room, he locked the door behind him and pulled out a suitcase from underneath the bed.

Opening the case, containers of powdered ice dust were revealed. He had a plan, a crazy plan that was entirely dependent on the limit of his reactive adaptation and limitless potential.

Hazel was able to use dust in more advanced ways due to his semblance numbing out the pain when he stabs himself with crystalline dust.

He wanted to achieve the same thing, without the self mutilation of course. The Schnee semblance worked similar to magic in a way, it was why Winter was able to quickly grasp the winter maiden's powers.

Uncorking one of the containers, he took a deliberate breath before pouring a small amount of it into his mouth and swallowing.

He was immediately hit with pain in his entire body, his knees giving out but he managed to hold his hand steadily to not drop the container.

He didn't know how long the pain stayed but it felt like a really long time. As he felt the pain slowly bleed off, he took another swig of the ice dust, another episode of pain hitting him like a truck, even worse this time.

He grit his teeth as he did his best not to scream in pain. He felt his body slowly grow cold but he didn't stop what he was doing.

Each time he felt the pain subside, he would take a swig of the dust as an even more intense burst of pain, coursing through his body.

He continued this process as a thin layer of frost was growing on parts of his body. He writhed in pain as he poured the last of it down his throat, bearing the pain in silence.

While he was in pain, he felt the changes that l were slowly happening but the feeling was overwhelmed by the pain. He was sore, in pain and barely able to move, the container already fallen from his hands when he felt a shift.

He attempted to push himself off the floor but as his palm touched the ground, a layer of frost spread from the point of contact, covering every corner of the room in ice.

That was the last thing he saw before he blacked out.
