Chapter 34: Little Anna

*At the park*

Atalanta and Aiden sat down on the bench with Arthur and Dorothy and she asked "What's going on here?." Arthur replies "Well we were suppose to enjoy ourselves in the park when we met her all alone and when she went to us she said we were her Mama and Papa." Aiden laughs and says "HAHAHAHAHA I can't believe it!." Atalanta then punches him and says "Be quiet." Dorothy then explains what happened after "When we were waiting outside for Arthur to get the bandages it suddenly attacked us out of nowhere and then that's where you two arrived."

Atalanta asks "What's her name?." Arthur and Dorothy were clueless Aiden then said jokingly "You guys don't even know her name!? and you're supposed to be her MAMA and PAPA." He laughs until he was knocked out cold by Atalanta.

Atalanta then proceeds to head to the girl and asked "Hello little one, what's your name?." as the little girl cries and gave out a loud shriek and Aiden just woke up saying "What happened?." as it effected the whole park Arthur went towards her and patted her head saying "There, There, everything's okay."

she calms down and goes to sleep in Arthur's arms while they were all at awe seeing it fast asleep Aiden then says "The little runt's adorable when he's quiet." Mad about what he said Dorothy knocked out Aiden and the rest of them left him on the bench as they went back to the dorm.

Carla was helping Saya prepare for dinner, Carla says "They're taking a bit too long just to get food." Saya prepares the spoon and forks and says "Well guessing them, they're probably at the park right now enjoying their youth." as Carla got it the wrong way and was flustered about the thought "We're back!." They enter the room and Carla yells out "Welcome back my Ki--." As she sees the little girl in Arthur's arms fast asleep, she drops to the floor and mutters to herself "Enjoying your youth huh my king." Arthur reacts out of confusion and asks "Are you alright?." Saya approaches them and asks "Who's the little girl?."

*After Dinner*

Dorothy then says "We found her in the park, but we haven't asked her name yet." as Arthur places the little girl on Dorothy's bed and tucks her in.

He then head towards the living room and says "Let her rest for a while, we'll ask her in the morning." Atalanta then says "The question is, was that droid after you two? or the girl." as they wondered about the droid's motives for attacking them earlier.

Saya asks "Droid? what does she mean?." Dorothy explained to both Saya and Carla on what happened.

Understanding the situation Carla says "Now I get it." Saya then asks "Then what happened to the droid?." Dorothy and Arthur looked at each other and said "It ran away."

Atalanta then picks up her phone and says "Yes, Aiden what happened?." Aiden replies while walking "You're a bunch of mean people, the droid we fought earlier?." Atalanta asks "What about it?." She could hear police sirens through her phone "The police found it .. but it's already destroyed." Atalanta then asks "Is it repairable?." Aiden then replies "I'm afraid not, it's chest has been torn off, while its head has been smashed to pieces including the memory disks it contained.".

Atalanta then says "Good work, we'll be staying at Arthur's tonight come on once you're done over there." Aiden replies and ends the call.

Atalanta then says to herself "This is really getting complicated here." before she went in she notices something move from the top of the other building and stares at it for a couple of minutes .. as she found nothing she then proceeds to enter the room.

Meanwhile..

Elizabeth was watching the night sky at a rooftop and enjoying the peace and quiet for a change, the cold breeze from the wind, giving her chills she says to herself "This is really enjoyable, I should do this sometime." as one of her clones appeared behind her kneeling reporting "Other Me, I have begun watching over them as you requested but nothing has happened as of yet should I?." Elizabeth then stood up and said "Continue to watch over them, once they make their move tell me." Elizabeth said as the clone goes back.

She said to herself upon gazing the starry night "What a wonderful sight to see."

Carla and the rest were already fast asleep meanwhile Arthur and Dorothy were at the dining table, Arthur asked "The thought of being her Papa hasn't really left my mind since we met her." Dorothy chuckles and says "Same here, I'm really grateful we've met her, I feel so happy when I'm around her as if I'm her actual mother." They both held hands "We just met her a few hours ago and it really feels like we've known her for ages now." Arthur said while giving Dorothy a smile.

In the morning ..

The little girl woke up from her bed and went outside still sleepy, her hair all messy, some would get into her mouth Arthur then greets her "Good morning, I made you breakfast." He gave her the plate with rice, eggs and bacon on it, as she tried it for the first time, she made the most adorable face upon eating it and couldn't handle eating it one spoon at a time and decided to eat it as fast as she could.

Dorothy then approaches her saying "Whoah Whoah, calm down little one, you still have plenty left no need to rush on it." She combs her hair gently as she slows down on eating Arthur asked "Is it okay if I ask?." the girl nodded while enjoying her meal Arthur smiled and wiped off the rice stuck on her cheek and asked "What's your name?." she was silent for a minute, and put down her spoon before eating the food and said timidly "I-I-I don't have a-a name." As Dorothy and Arthur were shocked to hear that Dorothy then asked "What about your parents? do you know who your parents are?." while the little girl was eating her food she replied "Mama and Papa." She points towards them with an innocent smile on her face.

Saya and Carla were listening as they were washing the dishes, a few moments later Saya was playing with the little girl in the room while Arthur and Dorothy were still hung up on what she said on not having a name.

Carla then says "If you two are gonna continue looking like that, I'm gonna go buy us some snacks alright." Arthur then replies "Thanks Carla." as she then left the room Dorothy then says "Let's give her a name." He agrees and said "There's still a lot more we don't know about her but I want to be Papa she believes me to be.".

Dorothy smiles and says "Anna, that should be her name." Arthur replies "Anna?, it's perfect.".

A few moments later she went outside crying Dorothy then asks "Saya what did you do?." Saya comes out of the room saying "I told her one of your favorite horror stories as a kid Master, I thought she might like it." Arthur chuckles and Dorothy then replies "Yeah I was terrified every time you tell me that story." Saya then humbly apologizes Arthur then says "It's okay Saya, you don't need to apologize."

Her tears were still flowing from her eyes as Arthur calmed her down by stroking his hand on her head a couple of times saying "There, There Anna, everything's alright now." she calms down and asked "*Sniff *Sniff A-Anna? *Sniff." Dorothy pats her head and says "Yes, that's your name Anna. the name your Mama and Papa has given you." She smiles at Anna and they both gave her a hug.

*Clicks*

Dorothy then asks "Saya what was that?." Saya replies "I took a photo of the three of you hoping to send it to your grandparents." Dorothy was then nervous as she plunged towards Saya saying "Don't send it to them!! I might look ugly in that photo." Saya then replies "I assure you Master you are very beautiful in this photo." Dorothy then chased after Saya all over the room as Anna laughing to see them run around the room, Arthur smiled upon seeing her with a smile on her face and made him remember his little sister back in their hometown.

He said "I wonder how she's doing by now." He then remembers "Oh right! next year she'll be transferring here too." He thought to himself as Anna then joined in on the fun and ran with them.
