"And that is what we have planned so far" said Jacob

"I see, it's very detailed and thought out" said Stella as she looked serious.

Jacob and Stella were having a private meeting in her office, the atmosphere around them was very serious.

"Wow, I am out of tea" said Stella as she moved her hand to remove the lid of her white tea tin, she could not believe it, wasn't her tea tin full some days ago?

"I see that you drink tea a lot" said Jacob as he had been observing Stella, and he noticed that she usually always drank tea, no matter the weather.

"Oh yes" said Stella as she smiled.

"It calms my nerves, and I cannot live with it" she said, and that was why she needed to get a new batch of her favourite tea soon.

"Ahh I see" said Jacob.

"So If I wanted to get you a gift, I could get you tea?" asked Jacob as he had been considering getting Stella a gift, and he just did not know what, Stella was like a second mother to Lucinda and Bella, and he wanted to show his appreciation, she treated him very well.

"Oh yes, tea would do just fine" said Stella as she smiled, Jacob was sweet.

"Alright then" said Jacob as he started thinking of which type of tea to get for her.

"It does not have to be an expensive brand" said Stella as she saw the look on Jacob's face, he was probably thinking of which brand of an exotic tea to get her.

"Just something simple, nothing more, besides I love trying new flavours of tea" said Stella as she smiled.

"I see, Thank you Stella" said Jacob

"You are welcome" said Stella as she smiled.

Jacob made himself a mental note that he and Bella had to go shopping for tea for Stella when this was all over, and he had to remember to keep in mind to find a flavour that Stella had never tasted before.

Yes he knew that Stella said to keep it simple, but he wanted to show his appreciation, and he wanted to do that by giving her the best gift that he could give her.

"You are so sweet, Bella is lucky to have you" said Stella as she smiled.

"No Stella, I am the one lucky to have her" said Jacob as he smiled, which reminded him that he missed his wife, he needed to call her and hear her voice.

"So Humble I like that" said Stella as she smiled, she was so happy that both her girls that she looked after when they were young, married men who truly loved them and adored them.

Even though they happened to be vampires, but who cared in this day and age?? That law had to be abolished, it made no sense right now, a law cannot separate two people in love.

"Thank you Stella" said Jacob as he smiled.

"Well Stella if you would please excuse me now, I have to go" said Jacob.

"Of course, you may go, don't let me keep you here any longer" said Stella as she smiled.

"Thank you, I will see you later" said Jacob as he stood up and smiled.

"See you later" said Stella as she smiled.

Meanwhile in Azazel's camp.

Nia did not sleep at all through the night, her mind kept on wandering, and thinking, she could not believe the fact that her lady was always watching over her, even if she was gone now, the mere thought made Nia cry.

But that was not the only thing, it was the fact that she knew, she was sure that Clove knew what she and Hunter were planning, and she did not know how, but to be honest she did not care.

What bothered her was that she was warning her, she told her that being wicked to the wicked, does not make you any less wicked, and in all sincerity, she was right, what she and Hunter were about to do was nothing less than wicked.

To think that she allowed herself to be clouded by hate that she did not think all this through before, it was at this point that Nia decided that she had to make a change, she had to make a decision and it was now.

"Hunter, I need to tell you something" said Nia as she and Hunter met in their usual meeting place, they were going to discuss the progress of their plan, or so Hunter thought.

"Okay" said Hunter as he noticed something off, but he did not want to scare of Nia, maybe she was having second thoughts again.

"But please promise me that you will not be upset with me?" said Nia as she looked at Hunter softly, she did not want to let him down, but she could not go on, she only hoped that he would understand her decision.

"Okay" said Hunter as he laughed, and Nia looked at him weirdly.

"Okay yes, I promise that I won't be upset" said Hunter but that still did not reassure Nia.

"Hey look here, what's wrong?" asked Hunter softly as he touched Nia's cheek, it seemed to be an habit of his.

"Hunter... I.... I" said Nia as she stuttered, she was hesitant to speak, and Hunter being this soft with her was not helping at all.

"Hey shush, relax, calm down and tell me what you want to say" said Hunter as he caressed Hunter's cheek with his thumb.

"Hunter I..." said Nia as she held Hunter's hand that was on her cheek with her own.

"Mhmm" said Hunter as he smiled at her.

"I cannot do this anymore" said Nia as she pushed it out.

"I cannot go on with the plan, I'm sorry, please understand me" said Nia as her voice was nothing but a whisper.

"Hunter??" asked Nia as she looked up, as Hunter said nothing, but she regretted it as soon as she did, his eyes were red, redder than usual, it was clear that he was more than upset, he was furious, Hunter removed his hand from Nia's cheek, his action was careful but it lacked gentleness that he had towards her before.

"Why?" asked Hunter it was not soft, but rather demanding.

"Because Hunter, I realized that what we are doing is not good" said Nia

"No stop it, don't tell me that" said Hunter as he moved back, he was trying to calm himself down.

"No Hunter I will, because it's the truth" said Nia as she decided that she had nothing to loose anyway, if she would loose Hunter's friendship then so be it.

"Being wicked to be wicked does not make you any less wicked" said Nia as she found her voice.

"You cannot tell me that nonsense" said Hunter as this was the first time he had every raised his voice at Nia and it made her scared.

"That woman deserves to pay, she needs to pay for all her evil deeds" said Hunter

"I know, I understand, she does need to pay, but not from us, we do not need to implicate ourselves" said Nia

"Ha" said Hunter as he sneered at Nia.

"Look Hunter, I'm sorry that I let you down, believe me I really am" said Nia

"But I cannot do this with you, I can't" she said.

"I don't want you to get in trouble, you are my friend and I care for you, so please just end your plan, just end it all, It won't do you any good" said Nia

"You don't know that" replied Hunter

"I do, trust me I do" said Nia

"Once again I am sorry, but I cannot do it" said Nia as she looked down.

"Goodbye Hunter" said Nia as she walked away, she was done here and she was sure that this was the end of their friendship.

Meanwhile in Stella Office.

"Stella you called for me?" asked Curtis as he walked in.

"Ahh yes Curtis, please take a seat" said Stella

"Okay, so what is it that you need to tell me?" asked Curtis as he sat down.

"Ahh yes" said Stella

"So the High Council is holding a meeting" said Stella

"And?" asked Curtis

"And I need to attend, they specifically called for all High Council members" said Stella

"Which means that, I, Captious and Sapiens we all need to go" said Stella

"Are you sure that this is a wise decision??" asked Curtis

"I mean for one, things are very fragile here, and you cannot just leave like that, can you not ask the High Council to excuse you, just this once?" asked Curtis

"I know Curtis, I know, but you and I both know how demanding they can be" said Stella as she sighed.

"And I am expected to be there more than anyone else as Vice Chancellor" said Stella as she leaned back in her chair.

"Besides Curtis nothing big has actually happened, Azazel is quiet and things are slow, so I think that if I go and return quickly it won't make any difference" said Stella.

"Look I know what you are thinking" said Stella as she saw how quiet Curtis was, he did not want her to leave.

"But you have to trust me, I have already assessed the situation, and I would not agree to this so easily if there was something off" said Stella

"So please Curtis, let me go" said Stella

"Okay fine" said Curtis

"Thank you" said Stella as she smiled.

"Besides you do not need to worry at all" said Stella

"Everything will be fine, and you have Lucas, Lucinda and Jacob here to help just in case, so rest assured" said Stella

"I hear you" said Curtis, he still had a weird feeling about this all.

"So what is the urgent matter that made the High Council call a meeting as serious as this?" asked Curtis

"I also have no idea Curtis, I have to get there first and then I will know for sure" said Stella

"I see" said Curtis

"But what I am sure of is that the King and Queen have nothing to do with it, seeing as their seals were not on the official letter that I received" said Stella

"That's odd" said Curtis as seeing as a meeting that called all members of the High Council, had not called the attention of the King and Queen.

"It is" said Stella

"Anyway be safe" said Curtis as he changed the subject, the political affairs of the witch realm were none of his concern.

"Thank you, I will" said Stella as she smiled.

Meanwhile back in Azazel's camp.

"What is it?" asked Azazel very coldly as Nia walked in.

"Umm Master Azazel, I have a request" said Nia as she jumped right to her reason for being here, she saw Azazel was in a foul mood, and she did not want to stay here any longer, she just wanted to try her luck and leave.

"Out with it girl, we do not have all night" said Azazel as he looked at Nia.

"Umm Master Azazel, I was wondering if you would please grant me a transfer" said Nia

"A transfer from what?" asked Azazel

"A transfer from being Selene's maid" said Nia

"I am sorry Master, but I cannot deal with her, she can be very demanding, and I would prefer to be transferred somewhere else" said Nia as she voiced out her concern.

It was true that all those reasons were valid for her wanting to be transferred, but the main reason was because she was not sure that Hunter would change just because of what she said, she did not want to be used by anyone.

She was the one that knew Hunter's plan in and out, and as long as she was serving Selene she would be at risk of being implicated or even worse, so she thought the best thing for her was for her to be transferred somewhere else.

"Okay then, you are transferred to the be one of the kitchen staff starting now" said Azazel as he just gave an answer very quickly.

"What??" asked Nia as she did not expect Azazel to agree so quickly and easily.

"I said that you may be transferred" he said.

"You will start your new duties tomorrow, but for now get out" said Azazel.

"Yes Master Thank you" said Nia as she bowed and she left, she did not even care about the way Azazel was mean, she was just happy that she got what she wanted for once.

As soon as Nia left, Azazel went back into this thoughts.

"It's time" he said to himself coldly.
