"So You know My Daughter's secret" said Mr. Grey in an Authoritative voice, which Scared Matt, because he had never met Annie's parents before and he certainly didn't expect to meet them this way.

Matt was sitting in the Grey's living room, it was his first time in Annie's house but he didn't have time to look around and you can see that there was a scary father sitting in front of him "Yes Mr. Grey" was all Matt could say as he tried not to look scared.

Mr. Grey was usually calm and gentle but now he seemed like a lion protecting his cub and it looked so intimidating.

"Oooh Curtis what should i do at this rate Dad will scare Matt away because he's being so scary right now, and Matt didn't do anything wrong i just wasn't careful enough when i did the spell" whispered Annie to Curtis.

"Well if your so worried then why don't you use a Telepathy spell??" asked Curtis as he was sitting next to Annie, but no one else could see him because he used cloaking spell on himself.

"What a Telepathy spell??i didn't know a spell like that existed??" said a surprised Annie

"Yes it does exist in fact many unbelievable spells exist too like a cheese making one" said Curtis so calmly

"Wow i am at a loss for words CHEESE??" asked Annie

"Yes Cheese" said Curtis

"Okay okay so tell me how do i do the spell??"asked Annie in her mind

"Well it's an easy one especially when your targets and in close range so all you have to do to is say Telepathis incantatores and direct the spell to the person or people you want to talk with and that's all" said Curtis

"Okay Telepathis incantatores" whispered Annie as she directed the spell to where her dad was sitting.

"Dad i think your being a bit to harsh on Matt" said Annie's voice "Annie is that you??" he asked in his head with utter shock as he saw her lips weren't moving, "Yes dad it's a telepathy spell" she said "Okay if you say so" he answered.

"Well dad as i said i think you are being a bit to harsh on Matt i mean he didn't do anything wrong and i trust him he's my friend and he would never do anything to harm me" explained Annie.

"No" answered Mr. Grey abruptly, Annie was dumbfounded she never saw this side of her Father before even when he was angry he always kept his cool but now he was being unreasonable, "But why Dad??" asked Annie

Little did Annie know but her Father wasn't just doing this because he thought Matt was a bad guy, no on the contrary from the first time Matt walked into their house he had some kind of secure feeling of him, and he knew he was a good kid and he wouldn't do anything to hurt Annie.

But there was a Papa Bear feeling, he could see it in Matt's eyes that he liked Annie and he didn't want anything or anyone to take his baby girl away from him, she was just 15 and she didn't need a Boyfriend and hence the hostility he was playing now.

" Telepathis incantatores" whispered Annie once again but this time she directed the spell to her mom "Hey Mom, Dad is being so unfair he's still being so mean to Matt even though i asked him to take it easy" complained Annie to her mom in her mind.

"Annie is that you??" asked her mom "Oh yes it's a telepathy spell" she answered "Oh okay makes sense so now what is this i am hearing about your father being mean??" she asked "Yes Mom he's being so unfair and mean" she answered

"Okay don't worry dear link me to him" she answered and Annie did so in her mind "Honey what's going on why are you being so mean to Matt??" asked Mrs. Grey "What hun is that you??" asked Mr. Grey "Yes it's me Annie linked us now what is this over hostility towards Matt hmm??" asked Mrs. Grey suspiciously

"Yes Dad what's the deal??" asked Annie

Meanwhile the Grey Family seemed to have forgot that the person they were talking about was sitting right there in the living room and he was as confused as ever, the Living room was now quiet and it was like the Grey's were having some kind of telepathic talk or something and it scared Matt to pieces.

He didn't know whether to alert them that he was still there, sitting down, or keep quiet.

Meanwhile back in the Grey's minds

"Look i just don't trust the kid that's all" said Mr. Grey

"Well then Why??" asked Annie

"Well his face is suspicious and the way he looks around" answered Mr. Grey

"Oh wait now John don't tell me it's what i am thinking??" asked Mrs. Grey

"Depends Lis what are you talking about" he answered back

"Aha so i am right well for one you are being unreasonable and number two it's Annie choice to choose" said Mrs. Grey as she was a Psychologist and could tell what people were thinking about.

"What is going on??" asked Annie to herself she was completely clueless of what her parents were talking about

"So what if it's her choice to choose i won't let her she's still my baby girl" said Mr. Grey

"Okay now John you are being really childish you will always be her father no matter what and no one is taking her away" said Mrs. Grey

"Wait what, what is happening what are you and Dad talking about??" asked Annie in utter confusion.

"It's nothing dear because your Father will stop being mean to Matt right now" said Mrs. Grey in an authoritative i am serious John you cannot change what i just said tone.

"Uhmm Mr. Grey Mrs. Grey, Annie is everything alright??" asked Matt as he finally tried to break the awkward silence he had been feeling since they all went quiet, it was intoxicating he didn't know what was going on all he saw was all members of the Grey Family looking at each other like they were talking with their eyes and it creeped him out a lot.

"Oooh well nothing Matt sorry we were just caught up in something but don't worry it's all settled now" said Mrs. Grey with a motherly smile on her face as it was the first time she had spoken to Matt since he entered their house.

"Right John??" asked Mrs. Grey with a you better say yes tone and her eyes said it all.

"Right" said Mr. Grey

"Mr. and Mrs. Grey i just want you both to know that Annie is my friend and i would never do anything to hurt or harm her i make that promise to you both today" said Matt with determination in his eyes

"So you don't have to worry her secret is safe with me" he said with a smile

Mr. Grey saw the determination in his eyes and he could only give in, he showed so much seriousness that Mr. Grey was actually starting to like him.

"Awww Matt that's so sweet well we trust you so don't worry" said Mrs. Grey

"Yes Matt i trust you" said Annie as she smiled at him.

"Okay now that this is all settled a\Matt would you want to stay for dinner??" asked Mrs. Grey

"Of course i would be delighted too just let me tell my mom first, if you will excuse me" said Matt

"Of course" said Mrs. Grey and with that Matt went out the front door.

"Well that went well" said Annie

Meanwhile outside Matt ran full speed to his house and he was there in under a minute he entered through the back door and he saw Evie reading a book.

"Hey Evie" he said

"Oh Hi Matt"

"Hi well the Grey's invited me to dinner so tell mom and dad i won't be around for Dinner the shouldn't wait for me okay? Byeee"

And before Evie could even answer Matt was gone in a flash.
