I Can Explain

The weekend ended very quickly and just in two short days everything had changed for the Sundew family, they now embraced their hidden past and used Magic and their strength as a part of their life now, which made everything easier.

After Matt dropped his siblings at their school, he went his usual route and he felt awesome, it didn't take him long since he decided to use his super speed and he got there in no time, he even did some jumps and flips all around and he got to school in no time.

When he got to school he saw her! it was Annie she was putting some stuff in her locker "Oh Hiii Matt how are you??" she asked with a smile on her face "Well i am good and how are you??" he asked "Wow that's great i can see that you are finally back to your normal self and not being mopey like last Friday" she said as she tucked some of her dark black hair behind her ear.

When Matt heard Last Friday Night he suddenly thought of the scene he saw about Annie "Yeah" he said "So Annie who picked you up last Friday after i left?" he asked curiously, "Oh a family member picked me up" she answered "Okay..." he said "So who was..." he said as the bell rang "Oh No We better get to class before we get in trouble" said Annie as she closed her Locker and started running to class, the halls were already empty.

Matt just stood there thinking, he thought that what he saw was just an Hallucination but his gut told him it was real because for one he just found out that he is a half Vampire and Witch and so anything could be possible he thought to himself.

"Well i better get to class too" he said to himself then he remembered that he ad super speed and in a flash he was at the door of the class and entered and he was just in time.

Everything was just so boring in class Mrs. Crabapple the teacher was a very old woman and had been teaching for years but her classes were always boring, Matt was busy toying with his new abilities and he was hearing what was going on all around him, he heard the birds outside and his classmates whispering to each other but one voice in particular caught his ear.

"Is everything ready??" asked a voice.. it was Maddie

"Of Course it's ready princess" said a guy that was sitting behind Maddie with a smirk.

"Oooh perfect this time Annie will know what hit her" she whispered to herself

"What what does Maddie mean by that?" once Annie's name was mentioned Matt's curiosity got the better of his and he continued listening attentively, Matt's desk was in the right corner of the classroom and Maddie was sitting in the left corner next to the windows so the sound from there was very easy for Matt to hear.

"Last time she got away but this time she won't get away so easily" she said with a mischievous smirk "What?? Annie was right Maddie is evil and i have been blind all along" said Matt to himself as he finally realized what Annie had been saying.

"Are you sure that the girl's toilets will be cleared??" asked Maddie

"Yes i am sure i made sure no one else will go there after Annie goes there" said the guy

"Okay then peeus " said Maddie

When Matt heard what Maddie said he was shocked he knew that that wasn't English not at all in Contrary he had heard his mother uttering some strange language when she was showing them how she did spells and this could only mean one thing Maddie was a witch too and she was planning to use her powers to harm Annie, that thought made Matt boil with rage he was determined not to let whatever Maddie planned for Annie to happen.

"Urinae incantatores" said Maddie as she directed the spell to Annie that was sitting in the front row and then Annie felt the urge to pee.

"Umm Mrs. Crabapple may i go to the restroom??" asked Annie as she raised her hand.

Mrs. Crabapple turned around slowly and said "Of course Annie" and she handed her a hall pass, it wasn't up to 2 minutes that Maddie raised up her hand and asked "Mrs. Crabapple can i go to the restroom too??" "Of Course Maddie just be quick" she said as she handed Maddie a hall pass and she left the classroom.

Matt was not going to let anyone hurt Annie not even his so called friend so he decided to do something "Mrs. Crabapple may i please go to the restroom??" he asked as he raised up his hand "Oh my Oh my why is everyone suddenly going to the restroom today?? well okay but be quick" she said as she handed him the pass, and Matt jolted out of the room.

Meanwhile, Annie really needed to pee and the closest girl's bathroom was locked for some reason in the middle of the day, so she went to the next one and it was locked, she then tried the third one and it was locked too.

"What's the deal with every toiler being locked??" said Annie to herself as she made her way to the other side of the school and surprisingly that toilet was not locked but people rarely went there because it was on the other side of the school and was abandoned but for an abandoned restroom it was really clean.

"Ianuae Magicae" said Maddie as she left the hall and suddenly appeared in one of the stalls in the abandoned restroom and she heard the toilet flush and Annie went out to wash her hands.

"Oooh look who we have here?? little Annie Grey wow today you won't escape me" said Maddie with a sarcastic smile "Maddie when did you get here??' asked Annie "Well that doesn't matter all you need to know is i am not here to play" she said as she charged towards Annie and Annie dodged her, Maddie kept on pouncing around the restroom but Annie kept on dodging her.

Annie tried to think of what to do without using spells but she couldn't they were in an abandoned restroom and people barely passed through that side of the school so it seemed like the only way for her to get out of this was to fight.

Meanwhile Matt was in the hallways trying to find where Annie and Maddie were he tried all the girls restrooms nearby but they were locked and then he remembered "Why am i wasting time i have super hearing remember" he said to himself.

Matt went still he concentrated and closed his eyes to hear, he heard the quietness of the empty hallway, he heard the noises of children in other classes and finally he heard some grunts and heavy panting not so far away and he knew it must be Annie and Maddie, he quickly opened his eyes and dashed to the scene.

Back in the restroom Annie had been dodging all of Maddie's lunges and Punches they were so tired that they were panting and sweating, Annie made sure not to hit her she didn't want to get into trouble.

"Ugh Annie stop dodging i thought this would be easy but now i have to use magic" said Maddie as she stopped panting

"Aha i was right i new last time you used Magic, i was sure of it" said Annie

"Ooooh so you know well this will be fun" said Maddie

"ligare incantatores" said Maddie as she lunged to touch Annie, the spell Maddie said was a binding spell and once Annie was touched by her, she wouldn't be able to move.

All Annie could do what to dodge Maddie as they bounced everywhere, Curtis only taught her Self Defense moves and she couldn't really fight back because she saw that Maddie was really serious and wouldn't waste any time to catch her and Curtis wasn't responding so the only thing that came to mind was for her to use a spell she knows very well... a Levitatis spell and she could only do that in close range.

Meanwhile Maddie and Annie were so engrossed in their battle that they didn't realize that Matt had been standing there and watching them all along, he was caught in a dilemma he didn't know what to do he was only frozen and couldn't move but just stay there and watch.

But then something happened that made him jump in shock, Annie that was running and dodging abruptly turned around and faced Maddie which caught her off guard, Annie then lunged full force facing Maddie, Matt saw that she was about to touch Maddie's hand that had the spell in it and he was about to rush and carry her when Annie reached Maddie, raised out her hand, touched Maddie's wrist and shouted "Levitatis incantatores" and with that Maddie when levitating up into the air and she was caught by the restroom celling.

Matt was shocked wasn't this Annie?? his Annie and then why did she just cast a spell she never told him she was a witch and he was frozen in shock it was only when Annie turned around to leave the restroom when she saw Matt, he was standing in front of the door with utter shock on his face, Annie's smile then faded and was replaced with a worried nervous look.

"Wow Annie just wow" said Matt as he finally broke the silence

"Matt what are you doing here??" she asked

"Oh Nothing just watching the show" he said with a sarcastic expression Matt was angry that his so called friend never trusted him enough to tell him that she was a witch.

"Matt look i can explain" she said with a worried look, and all this time Maddie was still stuck on the celling levitating so she could not see anything she could only hear that Annie was a bit nervous.

Just then the bell rang and Annie said "Oh shoot it's time for the next class" and she started running "Matt don't worry i will explain everything to you just come to my house by 2:30pm" she said

And all Matt could see was her disappearing silhouette in the distance, he left the restroom and went to class as well and said "You better" and then he left.

"Umm Hello anyone there??now how am i going to get down from here??" asked Maddie as she was the only one left in the Restroom.

Hello my beautiful readers, i am the author of Annie Grey and as some of my readers know i usually upload new chapters every two days but i abruptly stopped for almost a month, well to all those who care to know why, it was because i was in the middle of my exams and i had to study so i couldn't write Annie Grey anymore and that was the reason, well i finished my exams two weeks ago and so i took a week to write all the Annie Grey chapters that i have missed out on, and so to all my patient and beautiful readers i say get ready for the ride because it's going to be a rollercoaster of emotions😂😂So Byeeee enjoy your day and continue reading Ciao!!
