Vincent looked at him with a sympathetic gaze. “But that’s not who you are.”
David suppressed a sigh before responding. “No. I find it impossible to separate my feeling from the act itself. I get attached very easily. That’s why it’s difficult for me to have one-night-stands.”
Justin grinned at David. “I got you. Casual sex isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.”
Calvin placed both arms on the table and leaned forward a little. “Why did you agree when Tobias asked you out then? It seems to me you’re both on varying wavelengths.”
David shook his head. “Honestly? I don’t know. I just really like him. I want the chance to see if we can work well together somehow.”
The silence stretched on for a minute or so until Javier broke it by snickering softly. “Good luck, man. I hope you know what you’re getting yourself into.”
