Her personality keeps changing every October, the month of her birth, no matter how much she tries to prevent it.

In the past, she remembered how happy it was when her mother was still alive and how hurt she was when everything changed.

She sighed and shook her head, then covered the peanut butter and set the remaining bread in the basket.

She got up to get a glass and headed to the fridge to get a drink. Her fridge was bare except for a pitcher filled with water and three eggs.

She also returned the pitcher after drinking enough and returned the glass to where it was placed. The glass wasn't so dirty so it was okay to put it back.

It will result in a waste of water.

She walked into the room and sat down at the table where she was working, opening her laptop. A portion of the wall was covered with images, locations, occurrences, accidents, details of how the victims died, and of course, a map of Manila with varied directions.

There you can see how and who her victims were.

The map of Manila covered the entire ceiling of the room. It was ridiculous.

Why?

She wanted to apologize to their families even though she was the one who killed them. The killings might have been done by her other self, but it was still her. It won't change the fact that she's ill, and she's getting progressively more and more day by day.

Even though she's doing everything she can to keep from killing again, the urge is becoming stronger and uncontrollable, especially with Ivy. In the list of dead people on the whiteboard, almost all of them had been killed by her.

Ivy is revengeful. She hates men and women between the ages of 40 and 50.

Not too long ago, she killed seven men in a day using her usual tool—a katana with a dark snake design on its handle.

She walked towards her working table, pulled a chair, and sat down. She opened her laptop and the screen shows a video clip of Ivy which she recorded not long ago.

Ivy showed up in September. Ameira was triggered when she saw a child getting beaten. The father of the child physically abused the poor kid while the mother didn't give a cent of care about the incident. The mother just let her child be beaten by her own drunk husband.

When she was triggered, she killed the entire family, not sparing anyone. She even killed the kid to ease her pain and lessen her suffering.

Ivy didn't want the child to suffer the same way, so she also killed her.

She cut the father's hands, where he used to beat his own child. She also cut the mother's tongue for being silent, for being cruel to her.

She ended their lives so they could rest in peace. They don't need to live that kind of life anymore.

Ivy always had a good reason; they should thank her for ending their lives early. She helped them to not feel pain anymore.

Good or bad—

It doesn't matter to her because she no longer considers herself as human. Taking someone's life because of revenge and her past means she is no longer a human or innocent.

So, it doesn't matter whether she's right or wrong.

None of the above.

"I killed seven men and three families in just a day. It makes me happy that I can help them live in peace so they don't have to live with the agonizing memories of what we have been through. Personally, I pity Ameira for not being able to live like an ordinary girl. She has a horrifying past, and even in her dreams, she's being hunted. She can still hear their laughter, disgusting words in her head, and how horrifying it was to be raped by different men. She's... "

She paused the video and closed her laptop. She closed her eyes too as she clenched her fists on the table.

She's mad, really mad. Those memories that always hunt and hurt her that caused her to be in this situation, came back again.

She feels anger again, so much anger.

She needs to calm down. She took a deep breath three times. She needs to breathe.

She opened the laptop again and pressed the back button. She saw many videos of her different personalities.

Every shift in her identity is recorded so that she knows what's going on in the event in case someone she knows with her other personality collides with her.

Every explanation is thorough, with nothing being overstated or understated.

She tapped the video that was just being recorded by Aimee.

"It's my birthday! It's baking time with my mom. However, my mom is very busy, so I have to do it on my own. I'm not mad nor upset because I know mom is very busy in the business and dad...he's been missing for three days. I asked my mom about it, and she just scolded me. However, I'm going to bake! They said we should choose to be happy because there are so many reasons to be thankful, and, um, I just made dozens of cupcakes and cakes and everyone loved them! --I also met a handsome customer... his eyes are sad like he's been having a rough day. So, I gave him a box of my cupcakes to make him smile. I hope I'll see him again. He's too kind and I want him to be happy!"

Despite the fact that they never celebrated her birthday, Aimee believed she still had a family. Instead, they always forget it and don't have time to greet her with a happy birthday. She just made all of that from baking and the idea that they are just busy.

Aimee is innocent and carefree. When she was ten, she already knew what kind of life she was living because she understood everything and knew everything. And to make it even sadder, she creates things that are not even true.

She refused to accept reality.

Ameira smiled bitterly and turned off her laptop to sleep.

Misty has no record; it was still on her mobile phone. Wait—

Speaking of the mobile phone, she ran towards the living room and there she saw her handbag, one that Misty used.

She put her cellphone next to the bed. Misty had nothing good to say except how beautiful she was and how she flirted with the man.

She shook her head. She still has a part-time job tomorrow at a convenience store not far from where she lives. The houses here are quite close together.

She turned on the electric fan and pressed number 2 before lying down on the bed. She let out a sigh and closed her eyes.

She prayed first before going to sleep. Despite being a sinner, she always prays to God that one day she won't have to endure the pain in her chest. That one day, she'll be free from all the pain she feels.

She doesn't lose hope because God is the only one who will never abandon or judge her. And she's still thankful to God that she made it to where she is.

Because no matter how cruel life is, there's always God who will guide and love you—no matter how miserable you are.
