Sport Festival Part 6: The Finals

The finals: Hana Hayashi VS Shoto Todoroki

This fight many were looking forward to. Afterall The daughter and son of the No1 and No2 Hero were fighting.

Todoroki Created his classic ice. I became irritated that what I said meant nothing to him. I don't want to stretch the fight but I need to get him to openly use his fire since he needs to grow. This time I didn't dodge, rather I attacked. Todoroki was caught off guard and created a dome of ice. But before he could complete it I entered the dome.

Due to the icy walls no one could see us fighting but could hear us. Present Mic talked for a long time trying to calm the curious audience that wanted to tear the ice down and then suddenly there was a wall of fire which replaced the ice. They could see a wound on Todoroki's head and my arm was bruised due to dodging the fire. I smiled when he made a breakthrough.

Everyone felt pity for me seeing Todoroki's raging fire. But I knew he would grow stronger. I also knew his weakness as I attacked him. The fire burned my arm and my punch that made him pass out also had a backlash on me. I smiled at getting a good spar and fell to my knees. Present Mic announced my victory and a beautiful woman came to pick me up and take me to Recovery Girl. Others from the medical team helped Todoroki.

This day was marked in history as a Quirkless young girl defeated many people with Quirks. Everyone cheered my name outside as I got up from the bed where I was pretending to be hurt. I tried to save Todoroki and the other's their reputation. It was also weird for me to not be hurt after fighting many quirk users which may raise suspicions.

"Ma'am I don't understand how hurting yourself is important. Is there something I am yet to learn?" I smiled at the life-like android and responded, "All for One is smart and so is Nezu. They would be suspicious. I already feel that All Might is acting weird which is not good for me. I think we should tell him about the new power to disperse any suspicion on his side. He will understand why I would hide growing a quirk after not having one my whole life. Did Recovery Girl use her quirk on me?" Aida nodded. "Good, that means I can heal normally now without problems." Saying this my wounds and burns started healing at a tremendous speed.

Thanks to the system I had all of Killua Zoldyck's skills and powers. I could also improve them. Since electricity users are immune to it while I am not I have to pretend I am not hurt when I use it. To build a resistance I used the same methods Killua did. It was painful but worth it. After healing I started doing the daily mission from the system. Since Aida was here and the door was locked I didn't have to worry about anyone spying on me. After finishing my daily mission I dozed off and went into the system. I updated my status screen and was satisfied by my growth.

I woke up to All Might and my classmates' worried faces. "I was just sleeping, you know? Not dead yet. Why are you mourning again? Are you trying to curse my death?" I said while sitting up. Their faces brightened up except Midoriya, Todoroki and All Might who were all feeling guilty. "Let's go." I said while getting out of the bed.

Everyone was telling me to stop. "Why? I won. I have to rub it in the faces of those who underestimated me." I mischievously smirked. Everyone laughed at my words and the mood turned cheerful. All Might smiled seeing how I was trying to make everyone happy. He said, "All right but we need to have a talk after this."

"Sure, I have something to discuss too. But for now go away. I don't want to be near the stage." I said, which caused him to respond, "Why?!" I made an annoyed face and said, "Because you will go into proud father and teacher mode. Then you will embarrass all of us." "I will not!" He said. I made a face and he said, "All right maybe I will. But only because I love all of you." I firmly said, "If you come, I will not make dinner later for family night. Eat your gas-station takeout then." All Might made an aggrieved face and accepted defeat.

Everyone was stunned seeing the No.1 hero behave like a child. I understood what they were thinking and said, "Stop pretending you are embarrassing yourself in front of your students." I pointed at the class and All Might immediately put on his heroic facade but it no longer fooled the students who looked at me in awe. We all went to the stage and the winners were announced. After Todoroki and my fight Bakugo and Midoriya had fought for 3rd place. The rankings were…

1st Place: Hana Hayashi

2nd Place: Shoto Todoroki

3rd Place: Katsuki Bakugo

The crowd cheered for us and all the other classes were jealous and mad as all the top positions were taken by our class. We were named as 'The Overpowered Class' by the media.

I stood in front of the mic and said, "Hello everyone. You all know me pretty well by now so I won't waste time. I just want to say that it may seem like you're weak when you see people who are strong and around your age like Todoroki and Bakugo over here. But you are not weak. There is always someone more powerful than you, but that doesn't mean you stop trying. Everyone has the potential to be good or bad, strong or weak. It is just that people with quirks have a sort of blessing beforehand. If you put in the effort rather than be swallowed in your sadness, who knows maybe fate may give you something better than quirks. So everyone just remember….., PLUS ULTRA!!!!!!" My speech reminded them of All Might and the public loved me even more.

All Might who saw the speech on TV welled up tears in his eyes and was proud of me. I was content and left with the others.
