In the room that Doll had just exited, Level-headed took a seat to ease the pressure that would be exerted on his feet if he remained standing. It was frowned upon for a subordinate to sit in his boss' presence, but he was given a pass in this case.
His Boss said nothing about that; however, when Bull-headed tried to do the same, it earned him a glare.
Still trying to maintain his 'cool' demeanour, Bullheaded stood right behind his partner, but his grievances were still there.
Level-headed knew that even though the issue they had at hand was supposed to be a tough nut to crack, their Boss might not be too happy at that interruption.
The small thugs were usually autonomous in their dealings but sometimes they needed to loop the main Boss into what was going on.
This autonomy privilege was solely for the Level-headed for obvious reasons. Almost all the thugs went by no name that could be traced back to their lives before they joined the gang.
