A week had passed by since the shopping excursion. During this time I was able to create various chakra metals, I was also able to exchange some bits and pieces of metal here and there with higher quality metal. Why use steel when I can use adamantite and mithril, of course it cost a fortune but Valerie just wanted to see what I would create.
Surprisingly there was actually more sealing involved in the creation of the weapons than blacksmithing.
Seals for sharpness, chakra absorption, blood absorption, self repair, piercing, replication, storage, shifting, recall, teleportation, binding. There were thousands of seals that had to be written in special ink which I had to make from my own blood, as a bonus however I even got some of Valerie blood which would be used as an experiment.
I wanted to see what the executioner blade, which restored itself with blood, would do if instead of human blood I used vampire blood as a binding agent which also consumed human blood.
The Asura path shockingly could actually improve the current weapon manuals and make them even better.
Currently we are under the mansion in the basement. On the floor was a massive sealing formation, in the center were various bits and pieces of weapons and metals.
"So, what are you making first?" Valerie asks.
"Samehada, the shark skinned blade." I tell her before slamming my hands on the ground.
The entire sealing formation lights up as I push my chakra inside.
The sealing formation slowly starts to shrink before covering the various parts of weapons and metal in the center, which in turn start to wiggle and snap together.
Sharp shiny scales snap together forming a shell, razor sharp shark like metal teeth appear at the top of the blade, which starts to suck in raw chakra metal. The raw chakra metal glues all the scales together and forms a soft interior along with a tongue like appendage. A pure white orb is absorbed by the blade before it starts to wiggle as if alive.
This would be a soul I had gotten from the hell king in exchange for a bandit. It would give life to Samehada.
The now slug like blade quickly attaches to the hilt which is covered in barbs, it will attack anyone besides the owner or those I permit with nasty barbs to the hand.
Of course I'll have to get poked by it as well so it can memorize my blood and chakra.
By the side a scrolls lights up which is the summoning scroll for the 7 blades. If they are ever lost or stolen ill be able to simply call them back.
"Well it's done." I smile before walking forward and grabbing the hilt.
Sure enough, barbs bite into my skin and start to absorb my blood before quickly retracting.
I push some of my chakra into the sword which let's out a growl like purr.
"So this is the sentient weapon that Hephaestus wanted to see?" Valerie asks.
"Yes. I've made some adjustments to it, which are nice, it's much more sturdy than the original. I added in some mithril and magisteel to the chakra metal, this sould let it absorb magic and be able to be used like a magic sword. Also I've swapped out the steel for adamantite, this not only increased the sharpness, but the durability, with some of the seals I have on it though the added weight doesnt bother me. I've also added the blood drinking and repair seals so it can technically eat people to restore itself if its damaged." I pat the large blade which I can barely hold.
A quick trip to the gate of Babylon also binds it to me and adds the restoration effect. Anything that goes in the gate has a sort of restoration ability added, for example my chakra rod, if I fire it from the gate and its destroyed then the gate will be able to repair it even if its turned to dust. This also works with things like potions. If I drink a potion and store the bottle back it will slowly replenish itself, same with things like wine, or blood.
"Alright we need to write the seals for the next weapon creation." I tell them.
Same had follows me on the ground kind of like a Caterpillar inching along on its belly.
My paths quickly get to work on the next set of seals, spreading ink and weapon parts along the floor.
This time however there are much less materials. A large needle like blade, and a spool of special wire that is a mixture of multiple weapons.
"The Nuibari or Needle, its capable of piercing multiple opponents and threading them together, I can also channel chakra through the wires, this means if I use lightning chakra I could electrocute multiple enemies at once, I've improved the seals to increase durability and piercing effectiveness. Since it's such a thin sword I dont want it to snap, plus it can be used as a Longsword. Like Samehada I've changed the steel to a mixture of adamantite, chakra metal and mithil." I explain as the seals are quickly finished. "The thread also has a seal which helps reuse and produce more wire and make it auto retract if needed. That way I never have to worry about it getting in the way or running out. However incase it does there is a special hollow that can be filled with ore and it will produce it's own wire."
"Is this one going to be sentient as well?" Valerie asks curiously.
"No, Samehada is the only sentient one." I deny as the large blade growls happily under my pats. I've been feeding it my chakra so its grown a little.
Finally it's time for the second blade to be made, good thing I have such large chakra reserves and restoration.
Placing my hands on the ground and pushing out my chakra, the seals light up before once more crawling over the long needle shaped sword and the spool of wire.
