The sunset came as time went by, faster than a blink of an eye.

Once we and by we I mean me and my friends, had all changed into our school robes, my brother and his 'lackey's' came up to me.

"Ah, I have finally found you here Adam, where have you been?" Draco asked with smile that even a blind person could tell that it's fake, "I have been looking all over for you."

My friends and I looked at him with deadpanned expressions.

"well I was here." I responded simply.

" I was hoping that you'd come to join me in my compartment," Draco responded, "It's only proper for us brothers to sit together after all."

"Sorry Draco," l replied not really sorry, "but I'm here with my friends"

I noticed his gaze was directing to Rose.

"Oh, and whose this?" Draco asked leaning closer to Rose, "what's your name girl!"

Rose shrank behind me as he was towering over her. I grabbed him by the wrist and pushed him back.

"That is enough Draco," I said " You're scaring her! Can't you see for yourself?"

Draco looked ready to argue, but noticed everybody from my side tensed, glaring at him, My friends were fingering their wands, Ruby who was now wide awake was also snarling angrily at Draco, her feathers flickered with flame as she looked ready to strike. This made him think twice, as this wasn't the first time Ruby has threatened to attack him, and when she did it was when father, and draco, went into my room to scavenger for they call muggle trash, that needs to be trashed.

That fear was quickly replaced by anger, as he realized just what exactly I was doing.

His lips qurked downwards.

"I'd be careful If I were you brother," He snarled, "you, and your little friends for attacking the future head to the house like that."

I looked at him with a bored expression causing him to get angrier.

"Ok? Is that supposed to scare me? your forgetting that I am also heir to the Black family as well."

Draco scowled at that, as he was the oldest sibling. he inherited his father's lordship while everyone else, inherited the mother's side, or in my case, since it's just me and him He becomes the Lord of the Malfoy's while I become lord of the blacks.

And that law was written by Merlin, it cannot be changed unless its Merlin's heir.

"Anything else you need of me draco?"

I asked finding great amusement at facial expressions he is making.

Draco stormed out the room, his lackeys stared at me for a second followed. I sighed

"How troublesome."

"Yes it was, but you had it handled quite well" Blaise said with a smile.

The rest of my friends nodded in agreement.

Daphne shook her head.

"There's one in every family, Adam."

Daphne replied coolly.

"I know," I said with sigh, "What am I going to do with him."

"He will make a very handsome throw rug." Daphne smirked

"Daphne!" I admonished, but smirk on my face betrayed it.

"What it's true," Daphne smiled "just think whenever it gets rusty you can take it out and beat him."

We all laughed.

I turned toward Rose to ask if she was okay when a loud voice that was probably hagrid's boomed through the train.

"Please leave your luggage on the school train!" Hagrid announced "it will be taken' to the school separately. we will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes!"

After he said that we all began to pack everything up. I let Ruby be with Rose because I noticed Rose seemed really scared right now.

I had put a hand on her shoulder which was really soft by the way and squeezed it comfortingly ignoring her flinch.

It seemed that she had drawn strength from my touched and had managed to smile slightly at me.

It was small progress but good enough for me, I smiled back.

The Hogwarts Express slowed down to a stop. the Walkway then became crowded as everybody was trying to fight their way to the door.

Hagrid's face stood above everyone else, naturally as preened at the first years eagerly.

"Firs' years! Firs' Years over here, Rose?"

Rose in question had sunk behind me in response to his question.

Luckily he passed right by her and didn't seem to notice much to the relief of Rose he continued on calling the first years.

"C, mon, follow me-" Hagrid called " any more firs' Years? Mind your step now! firs' years follow me!"

As we followed Hagrid around at what seemed to be a narrow, steep path skipping over mud and exposed roots stomping on dead leaves, nobody seemed to notice these things as everybody was trying to keep their balance.

"Yer first sight will be here in a sec, just round the bend here"

Hagrid announced.

Crowd- "ooh~"

Suddenly, the path had opened onto the edge of a great lake that was the color of Black. Perched on top was a high mountain on the other side, its windows sparkling in the sky. it was a Castle with many turrets and towers.

I inhaled deeply as I took the sight of the Hogwarts school that was before me also noticing that it was a lot bigger than in the films.

The adventure is right before me, and I couldn't wait to get started.

I smiled as I stared at the image of Hogwarts couldn't help but cheer, "Here we go!"
