Ability Shift: Rise of the Unpowered Legion

Part 2: Childhood trauma and bullying faced by the protagonist due to his lack of power.

Jack couldn't believe what he had just experienced; it was like a long dormant part of him had finally been awakened. This newfound power was exactly what he needed, or so he thought. At school, things didn't change immediately for Jack; he was still scrutinized and bullied by the other children. Still, he kept his head down and stuck with his newfound power. Now he could hold his own against the attackers and cope with their cruelty. Jack learned to harness his power and manipulate it expertly, often using his struggles as fuel to become stronger. It was not always easy for him, but he persisted with his training, knowing that he could not afford to dwell on his past.

As time passed, Jack began to learn more about his powers and their limits. He realized that he could weaken or strengthen the abilities of those around him, allowing him to level the playing field. But as he grew in strength, his enemies also became more powerful to try and stop him. The world had its fair share of people with cruel and malevolent intentions, and they saw Jack as a potential threat and a formidable obstacle. The battles he fought were never straightforward, but with his newfound power, he was gradually becoming stronger, and the stronger he became, the more his righteous cause resonated with others.

Jack's journey continued, working tirelessly to hone his abilities to perfection, always keeping in mind the brutality of his childhood. He knew that there would always be people who would seek to hurt him, and who would seek to hurt others. However, Jack was now determined to protect his world. He came to accept his abilities and to believe that he could make a difference. All the hardships he had faced seemed to have led to this moment, where he could finally stand up for himself and for others, finally able to make a real impact. Jack knew the path to true power and heroism kept on unwinding, revealing new challenges every time, and he was excited to tackle the bumpy road that was to come.
