A World of Reincarnators

Mizuki was an otherworldly beauty in her first world. Born as an albino, having the best grades in class while taking interest in technological advancement and music in her free time. Her parents who had died a year after her birth left her a large inheritance. Her aunt has tried to kill her for her money ever since it was decided that all the inheritance would go to her. 'Human greed is a vile thing.' Mizuki was not stupid by any means. The moment she realized her life was being targeted she left to live alone. The inheritance would let her live nicely until the age of 40 at the least but she was not content with that and started to do work in the stock market. Mizuki was now living in a moderately sized apartment near her school. She had multiple bodyguards that were receiving quite the large salary so she was not afraid of losing her life before even getting married.... But.. "Human greed really is a vile thing. Is it not?" Now in another world where power decides everything human greed is not the biggest problem she will face. But bare in mind reader. Reincarnation is not that uncommon. (art ain't mine)

The Desert of Blood

"Seven years ago.

That man. Percy Louh appeared out of nowhere.

He wielded no weapon, used no Skills some say he didn't even have a Class and wasn't even over Level 50 at the time.

Yet, even so, he could still defeat any of his opponents.

Back then the fights took place there in the Bloody Desert, although it only got that name and appearance after he showed up.

He was placed into the A bracket.

He was not picked as the General though.

Who would pick someone with no Class nor Skills nor even any observable Potential as a General in this event?

And as that first fight started, blood was spilt even before the General entered the arena.

Percy, or as most of his fans called him, Purple Devil, started rampaging in that desert.

Even after all other Soldiers and even the General was dead, he refused to leave. Stating that, he would only leave if he is either defeated or every single Soldier and General in the festival fights him at once.

Since the organizers didn't have time to deal with a single turnover character, they made it seem like a special event to see the potential of the new newbie. But in actuality, it was meant to be an execution.

The plan... did not go as well as they had hoped.

Every General wad beaten to the ground smashed into paste.

Every Soldier was torn to shreds.

Blood littered the desert.

As the last of his opponents fell, even while covered in wounds and seemingly having irreversible damage done to him, he smiled and yelled at the camera, waiting for the festival to continue.

Soon though, the organizers turned off all the cameras and the portal device. Leaving the Madman Percy there to die.

Everyone thought he was dead.

Looks like he isn't though."

'Wow. Great story. Definitely listened real closely.'

The waitress nodded.

"I understand. So is that the same person there now?"

"Undoubtedly. Although he seems older and now actually has a pair of weapons. We have yet to see him use any Technique or Skill."

The waitress looked at the screen where the fight was happening.

"Excuse me, sir?"

"Yes?"

"You didn't mention that he could use Techniques."

"Correct. Because he can. He just hasn't yet."

...

'My name is Percy Louh. I consider myself the King of Kings. And for good reason.

Since birth, I have been cursed with nearly no Potential, no Skills, No Class options and no Talent.

At the age of 5, I started training with the knights that protected my home. I was of noble birth back in those days.

I trained my body and learned as much about it as possible.

My family was strict with their military power. No member of the family could be anything less than a combatant.

So, I trained.

Though it made no difference.

My Stats did not rise and I still remained Skillless.

So, at the age of 10, I was abandoned.

I lived on the streets.

Life was horrible.

Cold winters with no clothes, hot summers with no water and so on, and on, and on for quite a while.

Until one day, like every day, I opened my Status.

It was exactly the same.

No progress even though I continued my training while starving and dying. Not a single Status Point.

I snapped.

I punched the System screen.

Nothing happened as my hand phased through it.

I continued that way for hours, rage fueling my every movement.

Until.

Something changed.

Finally. Finally, something changed!

Although it did not show on my Status, I felt it.

I gained something. Be that a curse or a blessing, power or weakness, I did not care.

Something changed.

And I was pleased with that.

And so I laid down and passed out.

I did not know how long had passed, but...

I found myself underground.

It felt like quite a bit more than a week or two.

Maybe a year?

No matter.

I clawed my way out. It was surprisingly easy considering I had not eaten in that time.

As I crawled out, I noticed how I was surrounded by undead.

I smirked as I could finally test out what changed.

I had obtained power. I had become the perfect fighting machine.

As a side effect,

I craved battle.

That is where it started.'

...

Back in the desert.

Miranda was on the ground, her final trump card had damaged Percy quite a bit but it took too much out of her.

The Scythe General was unarmed as his weapon was destroyed.

He laid there, on the sand, half sunk and full of scars.

Achillie was on one knee, unable to get up.

Looking forwards, past his own dripping blood, he could see a female figure, sword in her limp hand as her free arm clutched her wounds.

His ears rung as he could barely hear anything.

Miranda's final attack was large enough to send him flying and temporarily deafen him just because he was near the blast zone.

Mitsuna spoke as she spat blood to the side.

"Sword Saint and her over the top Techniques."

"Haha! That stung! Now, come on! No more cameras, no more witnesses. Let loose!"

"You madman..."

Mitsuna pulled some of the sand around her toward her body using magic.

Sand bracelets formed around the wounds on her arms, legs and chest as they suddenly gripped them tightly together.

Sand flew from the places her wounds were.

Mitsuna grunted in pain and held back a yelp.

"Yes! Yes! We are alike! We both need to let loose! Come on! I won't be holding back and neither should you!"

Mitsuna gripped her weapon while going into her quote on quote 'second phase'.

'I actually have to go all out against this guy.'

All the magic cameras around suddenly shattered.

"Fucking Madman."
