We All Know

Everly pushed her back into the mansion and towards the guest room where she stays.

Delarcy slowly got up from the wheelchair and staggered towards the table with all the strength she could muster.

Her skin was as pale as could be, and her fingertips were still bluish.

Just like Nix had stated, her temperature was still rising, and she knew that sooner or later she would get to a point where she wouldn't be able to get out of bed.

She pulled the drawer of the table open and took out a well-folded piece of paper.

She turned to Everly.

"Take." She gave it to her, and Everly received it from her.

"What…is this?" Everly asked, unsure what the piece of paper was about.

"Read it during your free time later, okay." Delarcy beamed at her as she spoke, and reluctantly, Everly nodded her head.

"Oh…okay." She agreed, and without saying anything else, she proceeded out of the room and made her way toward her own room.
