"Oh, you had no idea?" Delarcy smirked at him. "Everyone knows." She sealed her lips to prevent herself from laughing as a result of the expression on Valerio's face.

"You know, you should give me credit." She folded her arms as she spoke.

"Credit for what?" Valerio wrinkled his brow at her.

"For finding a lover for you. I told you she was going to be the best, no?" Delarcy arched her brow at him in a questioning manner. "Not only was she the best, but you also ended up falling in love with her. Don't you think I should be given credit?" She asked with a haughty look on her face.

"Uh…" Valerio vigorously blinked at her, and not even knowing what to say to her, he scratched his head and slowly walked out of the room in silence.

Delarcy gazed at his disappearing back, and her lips curled up into a warm smile.

A deep breath fled her nose, and she laid down on the bed, covering herself with the bedsheet.
