A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

"Professor Gluri, we need to talk about David..." the head nurse said.

"Oh? What about him, head nurse Nana?" he called her by her nickname.

The nickname had irked her for all these years, but this time, she kept it in, "Luke... this is serious."

Hearing her call him by his name, first name no less, he was overjoyed, but he didn't let it slip onto his face, "Alright, tell me the problem."

"So, I'm sure you went through the annual report of all the classes about their top three students correct?" she asked.

"Correct." he replied.

"Good. So professor Gluri brought back a very bruised David... personally, way after the other students in his class. I'm sure he's told you about how he did take some time to... teach him a lesson."

"Please get to the point, Ms. Nana." he urged.

"Mn. After professor Gluri brought him in and left, David had begun to change. Since the higher-ups know of his race, we assumed that he was about to evolve. It was confirmed as the area around him was shaking, waking everyone up."

"They didn't know what was going on, but it seemed like his brother, Bennett knew his identity and convinced the students to evacuate as they were already healed. After a few hours, the rumbling suddenly stopped, but over the entire process, his body changed and his aura had slowly grown to over twice the amount his aura would be usually." Nana placed her right hand into her hair, looking slightly stressed.

"He should be in the third tier then, correct?" he asked.

"Yes, the aura he was releasing seems to be around that level, yes." she nodded.

"Was there any damage in the hospital?" he asked.

"No... although it was much stronger than what would be considered normal, it seemed more like an internal breakthrough. There were some cracks on the floor, but they fixed themselves in a few minutes." she sighed.

"I see, then I guess I'll have to focus on him even more then..." he muttered.

"Alright, I told you everything I got from today, you can leave and go back now." she shooed.

Hearing her words, he frowned, "Nana... we're usually so busy, this is a rare time for us to be together, why can't I stay a bit more..." he teased, getting closer to her.

"You!... No, I have more work to finish, I don't need you distracting me..." her cheeks flushed slightly.

She turned around and pushed him off of her before turning back around to ignore him.

Seeing that she was being shy, he wanted to tease her a bit more, "What work? Look at the documents here, they're all gone. We both know your talent in this field... won't you spend some time with me... Nana?" he appeared behind Nana, whispering in her ear.

Her cheeks flushed from Luke's breath on her face, but she held it in, "Hmph! Mr. Vice-headmaster surely has some work left to do... please leave."

He saw her red tomato face, and decided not to tease her any further, "Alright, fine. I'll leave, I'll leave..." he closed the door, smiling to himself, like his cold temperament in the meeting room had never existed.

Seeing that he left, Nana sighed in relief, 'If he really stayed...'

**(Some... where?)**

.

It was a dark place, the only source of light was the hall of torches lighting the stone pathway to somewhere...

At the end of the hallway, the was a mature young man in a meditative position with a sword in front of him. He was currently pouring his mana into the sword, cultivating himself at the same time.

The man was quiet, the sword had begun to fly around him, as if it was completely obeying his orders.

As it was slowly revolving around him, it slowly fell back onto his hands, "Finally, I have made this sword spirit mine." he smiled.

He gripped the sword, doing a few test swings.

*Ching~ Ching~ Ching~*

The rocks were slightly damage, though they were quick to start resupply itself.

"Not bad... it seems like I've achieved a small breakthrough." he glanced at the sword, sheathing it.

The man then closed his eyes, trying to get used to the small surge of power coursing through his body.

*Whoosh~*

The cloaked... person appeared on the entryway of the room, seeing its master, it bowed down immediately, "Master, I have delivered the message."

He woke up and turned his head towards the cloaked servant, "Good, anything else?"

It did not move, "Yes, it seems like David had already broken through to the third tier, attracting some attention from the vice headmaster, Luke, and the headmaster of Balfone Academy... Also, they have found our tracks and have begun to search."

He blinked and didn't say a single word.

"Thank you for your report, please do the usual." he ordered calmly.

"Understood, master." It bowed again before teleporting away.

"It seems like my new brother is quite interesting... Hm." he smirked.
