'Balfone Academy... the emblem matches the environment quite nicely.' David looked at his surroundings in slight awe.
"David! Look!" Bennett grabbed his sleeve like a kid and started pointing from the carriage.
Sweating at his childish attitude, he pushed his face away from him with his hand, "Come on, let's get off the carriage, you'll get a better view of the academy anyway."
"Mhph... mmph! Mhmph! (Let... me! Go!)" Bennett's voice was muffled, but David could mostly tell what he meant from his gaze.
Letting go of his face, Bennett coughed as he did cover his nose as well, nearly suffocating him, "Bro! You don't have to cover my nose..."
"Fair enough, Max, have we arrived at the academy yet?" David didn't bother checking the windows himself, so he asked his coachman.
Max stepped off of the white horses and opened the door, "Yes, we've arrived, Young masters.
"Come on, you go first." David let Bennett get off first before he got off the carriage him. Immediately, they changed their attitude to a noble's, slightly aloof and cold, with a tint of arrogance, yet also approachable.
After they got out, Max had quickly left as instructed of Sarah. She just didn't want the others to know their identity until they introduce themselves.
Now, ignoring the gazes of the new students that walked here or were also coming out of the carriages, let get to looking at the academy!
"Who are they? They're quite handsome!"
"Considering the carriage they've gotten out of, they must be a high-class noble at the very least!"
"Did anyone see what the emblem of the carriage was?"
"The aura they release is quite... strong as well..." They actually didn't realize how suppressing their auras were as they had always been training with people as strong, if not stronger than them anyway.
From the outside alone, Balfone Academy actually looked quite modern, like a full-on campus! The campus had tons of buildings, resembling a town, there were even some buildings that were connected with extremely long hallways.
Even though their emblem resembled greek with their caesar's like crown for the background, the buildings were completely different.
The only resemblance was the building in the middle of the campus, which seemed like a greek/roman temple. All the other buildings were actually very modern! They had those sleek white and glass designs you would see in the city, the only difference was that there weren't any skyscrapers in the area.
The 'walls' of the campus were actually a short hedge wall that spanned throughout the entire area, and there are few specific places where the entrance is just a hedge doorway.
It even seems like a normal school, just without the sports areas which were replaced by what seems to be more space and other buildings.
'Interesting... there seems to be multiple barriers on the seemingly welcoming academy' David looked at the short hedge walls. His eyes revealed a shit ton of layers in front of him, which he immediately turned off as it was as blinding as looking at the sun for a minute straight.
He looked over, only to see Bennett's wide-open eyes and open mouth, in a slight daze. He waved his hands in front of him first, but he didn't seem to snap out of it, so he left to enter the academy, he ain't getting late on the first damn day!
Bennett snapped out of his daze when he saw that David was walking into the entrance of the campus and ran towards him without any care about his image, "W-wait for me!"
Though he was running without a care in his image, there were tons of students all flowing into the campus as well, so they just ignored them for other arrogant nobles... there's already enough of them at the academy after all.
As it was close to the first day ceremony, everyone was rushing instead of settling and talking to each other so they won't be late.
"Hey, where's the ceremony happening again?" he pestered David.
"Just follow the people, they're all going in one direction anyway." David glanced to his side.
"Ah! Yeah, your right... that was a stupid question..." Bennett slouched as he walked.
"Come on, straighten your back, your tutor should've drilled that into your body by now." David reminded calmly.
Hearing the word 'tutor', Bennett immediately straightened his back as if they were watching if it was straight or not.
"Wait. Not too much, relax man... it's not us that's making the opening speech there after all." David smiled at him, as he encouraged him.
"Mn." Bennett pursed his lips, relaxing at his words.
They soon arrived at the center of the campus, where the temple was. For some reason, even with all the students entering, it didn't seem like it was packed, and it seemed as if they were being transported some.
"Ah. So they do use portals here, guess that's going to be a daily routine soon." David commented indifferently, he had gotten more used to the things around him with the month he stayed at the Vales.
"Mn! I wonder where the other portals are and where they lead to, mhm!" Bennett said to himself, nodding to his imagination.
"Shut up, we've got to get inside now, it seems like the ceremony is going to start soon." he bonked his brother's head.
"Alright, alright. Let's... go..." he said with his voice going softer. Even if he was used to getting bonked, he still didn't like it since everyone did it.
They walk towards the temple, feeling a slight pull from it, they come closer before their vision became slightly blurry.
'A different type of portal?' David closed his eyes to get used to the feeling and opened his eyes again to see his surroundings became that of an auditorium.
The auditorium was big, yet, it wasn't that dark as there were a few of the lights above them were turned on. The platform in front of them seemed to be made of wood, and that the only thing was the fact that there were a few luxurious chairs behind the stand in the middle of the stage.
The actual size was extremely large, having 6 columns of blue seats with stairs and paths next to them like a movie theater on the first floor and another 8 columns of seats with the same as the first floor.
Seeing that the lights were being turned on, David grabbed Bennett's spinning body and sat him down on the left side of the auditorium, waiting for everything to start.
