Life Is Quite Funny At Times

The wind howled violently, as Merus and Sado glared at each other, their gazes locking caused the very planet they stood on to shake. Blood was covering Sado's body, his eyes were completely focused on Merus who grinned at him. Sado took a deep breath before he stretched out his palm, and bright yellow light materialized. 

In a single motion, Sado shot his palm forward shooting a massive beam at Merus, the beam ripped through the ground forming a valley in the ground, the beam inched closer and closer until it froze. Sado scoffed at his frozen beam, before he glanced to his right and locked eyes with Pybara. 

" Quite shameful. All those days I trained you. And yet, you still don't understand that beams won't work against me. " Pybara said, 

" No. You should be ashamed, Pybara. For falling for such a simple trap." As soon as Sado said this, the frozen beam split into hundreds of small blasts, firing up into the air. Before raining down onto the battlefield, causing explosions to erupt wildly. Pybara and Merus could only smack their lips annoyed, as dust flew up into the air, covering their vision. 

Pybara's eyes were completely focused on the dust, before Sado materialized behind him, throwing a swift jab at the back of his head. The punch soared through the air, before powerfully slamming into Pybara's skull. However, the impact of the punch. It wasn't something Sado was expecting instead of feeling bone. Sado's fist felt like it punched slime.

Sado quickly tried to pull his fist out of Pybara's head but before he could Pybara's body glew a bright dark blue. Sado's eyes widened as Pybara's body exploded causing a massive explosion to tear through the ground, creating a small crater. 

Sado stood in the middle of this crater with his eyes still wide, Sado arm... It was gone completely, blood gushed out. Pouring down onto the ground, as a voice spoke.

" I can say the same Sado. " Pybara said standing on the edge of the crater. Sado quickly looked over towards Pybara locking eyes with him, before Merus suddenly appeared in front of Sado throwing a kick, that Sado narrowly ducked. 

Sado quickly dashed back gaining distance away from Merus, Sado's gaze immediately shot back over towards Pybara but... he was gone. Before Sado could react, a powerful kick slammed into his side, launching him off his feet.

Sado's body slammed into the ground before he rolled onto his feet, and blocked another kick from Merus, a shockwave rippled out from Merus's attack. As Sado fended off Merus's leg, Merus spoke. 

" Didn't I tell you this would be the day you die? Sado. "

" Tsk, save the talk. This battle is far from over. " Responded Sado, before he latched open his mouth and fired a yellow beam. This beam slammed into Merus's body, but it did little to no damage. Only giving Sado enough time to retreat away from him. 

Sado stared at Merus gasping for air, a single thought ran through his mind. " How the hell am I going to survive this? " For the first time, in a long time. Sado life was truly in danger, with his ability to turn into fog gone. Merus could finally learn a killing blow on him, and since Pybara allied himself with Merus. The chances of Sado's death only increased. 

Pybara was a man who trained Sado, knowing all of his weaknesses and all of his abilities. But most importantly, his strengths. Pybara knows if he can limit Sado's strengths, Merus will eventually kill him. But for Sado, the rest of this fight is about to become one massive gamble...

Umm, I wonder if anyone is still reading this? But if you are thank you. I know I haven't updated this novel in half a year. But all things considered, this isn't the longest break I took while writing this novel. But in all seriousness, I would be lying if I said this fan fic would start getting updated regularly mainly because I'm writing sixish other novels right now. Which all have started or are currently doing well. Except one... Which is, this one.
