Chapter 55
The three sat around in boxers and T-shirts, tearing apart the new space movie. Russell looked over at the others. “Just so’s y’all know, when we got a girl living with us, sitting around in our underwear watching sci-fi ain’t gonna cut it. We’ll have to be on our best behavior with a new daughter and sister.”
Cody said, “We can get her boxers and T-shirts, too. She might like to watch TV with us like that. Let’s see what happens.”
The men rolled their eyes. Once the movie finished, the men tucked their son in with his dog, kissed him good night, and loved him with all their heart.
Peter got his shiver from Russell as the foreplay progressed. They tried to be quiet so as not to disturb fish, dog, or boy. Silently they wondered how much more it would add to have a daughter thrown into the mix. They agreed to talk with both sets of parents about it. They also knew Maria would be as welcome into the club as Cody.
