Jordan

"Did you hear that?" Jordan said crawling into Aurelia's window, "I am going to court because I 'killed Edward.' What bullshit. Everyone knows I loved the dude. He saved my life!"

"WHAT?" Aurelia screeched, "how could they think such things?"

"I'm not sure," Jordan said with sadness framing the edges of his words, "Wha- What if I lose?"

"Oh baby," Aurelia said, pulling him on the bed, "there is no way in heaven or hell you are gonna lose. You committed no crime."

He sat there thinking about her words. She pulled him to lay down, and she snuggled him for support.

"I love you," Aurelia said, "and I'm so sorry."

"I love you too," Jordan replied, "no need to be sorry."

They both fell asleep. The next morning they had school. Jordan was not ready to go, the whole school knew about him.

Aurelia's mom decided to drop her off at school.

When they got to the school, Estelle was there to greet them. She hugged Jordan as Aurelia pushed her aside.

"Oh my god," Estelle screeched at Jordan, "I can't believe they did that."

Jordan ignored her. When he got to class, everyone was staring at him. He slowly sat in his seat, looking down, trying not to draw attention.

"Ok so today we are going to resume," his teacher said pausing, "why Jordan? Why are you here? Don't you have a court to look forward to?"

At this point, Jordan was drop dead embarrassed. He ran out of the classroom, and made his way to Aurelia's house. He sat down in the closet and cried until he fell asleep.
