Sick

It was an unexpected experience. I was told to stand outside and wait for them even though I was feeling sick. I held onto the bag and waited outside but as minutes passed by my shoulders started to hurt. I dropped the bag on the ground and stood there.

For some reason, holding on to the bag and letting myself exert my energy contained my sickness. But as soon as I rested, my body began to feel weak. I got headaches and my stomach was pushing the food I ate up my throat. I was beginning to get dizzy.

I watched ahead to see whether my parents were done, but they were not. I waited and waited and my sickness was getting worse by each second.

I called them but the signal was cut. They called back and it seemed they were done. They called me to come outside and I walked out from the gates.

The sudden heat was unbearable and I felt worsening. I placed the bag next to a nearby bike and held onto it.

I started to feel dizzy, my ears started to scream "kiiii..." and somehow the brightness increased in my eyes. I looked around trying to spot my parents. A car was heading towards me. It took me a moment to realize that it was my parents. I wanted cross the road, but I couldn't. I knew I was going to faint yet I held on for as long as I could. They stopped the car and both my parents got out of the car and rushed towards me, my father held me by my shoulders and took me to car while my mother took the bag.

I puked as soon as I got in and a man Infront of our car said, 'put her head down' another man walked next to him saying, 'we wanted to call her here since it was hot, but she was a girl and that wasn't possible...'

. . .

It is now that I realize, that I was facing the after effects of that surgery...
