Originally confined to the southeast of the country, the Oromo migrated in waves of invasions in the 16th century CE. They occupied all of southern Ethiopia, with some settling along the Tana River in Kenya; most of the central and western Ethiopian provinces, including the southern parts of the Amhara region; and, farther north, the Welo and Tigre regions near Eritrea. Wherever the Oromo settled in those physically disparate areas, they assimilated local customs and intermarried to such an extent that much of their original cultural cohesiveness was lost. They were eventually subjugated by the Amhara, the next largest ethnolinguistic group in Ethiopia. The southern groups, such as the Arusi and Boran (Borana) Oromo, have remained pagan, believing in a sky god. They have retained virtually intact the gada, or highly formalized age-set system (a system in which all members of society are included in separate age groups for life). Those traditions have been diluted in the north, where the Oromo are either Muslim or members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and where many Oromo have, through acculturation, become social equals to the dominant Amhara. This novel is pretty hilarious 😂 I’ve never seen this writing style before 😂 It’s a first person point of view, there’s quite a few grammatical errors, text abbreviations and internet acronyms but it just works 😂 This was certainly an entertaining read 😂

A pleasant story about death, revenge and masks of personalities. There is so much to look forward to and it is all worth it in this very great start to an undoubtedly good story. Not to mention: the lead Sanjana is so very compelling in her determination.

A synopsis that presents the complete story about the mafia plot. And when you start reading, you realize the thoroughness when describing details, such as the voices that differentiate one region or country from another. I like the idea of taking a distance, of reacting intespectively. It allows channeling all the senses and giving a planned response.

Character design is vivid. I can already make out what Sanjay looked like and her attributes. Story wise although not much to say at the moment (3 chapters) do leave me wanting to know more.

Sanju is the type of girl you want to be but don't want to be friends with she is mentally strong and keeps too much things to herself, I like her personality and Rosh is my favorite, handsome hunk who could lead a conversation... Interesting novel a good read.

Great story with solid writing, an intriguing story, amazing description, and interesting characters. I think the writing is solid, with a few minor things that could be changed (some paragraphs should be shortened). This is definitely worth the read for a different type of story to enjoy.

As a new author you did a great job writing this book. The comedic relief each chapter has is very good. Also the self talking part. It reminds me of my own book. So far, i only read 5 chapters. And i really like how the plot is developing. So i think you did a great job author. Keep up. [img=recommend][img=update]

Because so far it only has three chapters (at the time I read this), the plot is still unclear. I hope the author could develop more and answer the questions that might arise in readers. Writing-wise, I see rooms for improvement. With more practice, you're good to go. Learn by reading other books as well to help you construct better words and nuances, how to describe certain things. Best of luck dear author ✨ Don't ever give up!

The capture of racist bullying in the opening passages was really done well. The self-talking and the acceptance of getting bullied were eerily relatable to me😅. But there are quite a few problems. Hope you don't get me wrong. I kindly wish you to correct some grammatical issues in your writing. And keeping multiple dialogues of multiple characters together in a single passage could impact the reader (saw it on a review for another work ages ago) Otherwise, it's a good story and has some strong characters with great potential. All the best🤞
