Delegating tasks
Guessing that the 4th mission should have been completed, Apollo looked around the HQ, expecting to see more SoWs but aside from the cosplayer girls there was nothing new.
"Odd... Shouldn't there be more of those balls? Or some kind of reward?"
Activating the bracer, Apollo noticed a new mission had been issued.

"What!? Final already? Isn't this tutorial too short?"
(Hmm... what should I do? 21 hours left, that means it will only start tomorrow, but I should prepare the best I can starting now...)
"I wonder what resources I need to create more Servants..."
"5 kilograms of Food, 2 Trees, 100 grams of salt."
"W-what!?"
Looking behind him, the girl with research clothes repeated what she just said.
"5 kg of Food, 2 Trees, 100 grams of salt."
"O-oh... I see. And do we have any of that?"
"Right now we have 5 kg of salt, 20 kg of food and 60 Trees in the Palace. 5 Trees in the Research Center, 7 trees in the Factory and 22 Trees in the Farm."
The one who answered was the girl in maid clothes.
"Hmm.. so we can make only 4 servants... Is there any way to get more food?"
"Farming!" "Hunting, sir!"
The soldier girl and farmer girl answered at the same time.
"Won't farming take too long?"
"That depends on the seeds we use, Master."
"Hmm, what is the fastest seed we have?"
"Turnips, can be cultivated in 1 hour."
"WHAT!? That's crazy!"
"If you are unsatisfied, it can be improved in the research lab."
"N-n-no no no no, that's good enough. Please start cultivating them right away!"
"Understood!"
As she received her orders, farmer girl left at a fast pace toward the farm. As for the researcher girl and soldier girl, they looked down after having their suggestions rejected. Apollo ignored them for now and turned to the maid.
"Can you bring all Palace resources to the Lab?"
The maid girl nodded affirmatively.
"What about ordering the lab to build more drones?"
The girl tilted her head, not understanding what Apollo was asking.
"Can you make the lab build more servants like you?"
The maid girl nodded confirming her abilities.
"All right, then do it, bring the resources and build as many servants as you can. After that keep bringing any food produced in the farm to the lab, understood?"
The maid girl nodded again.
"Great! Then go!"
The maid turned toward the Palace and started running as fast as she could.
(Two down, three left...)
"Now you researcher girl...Can you improve the speed the servants are born?"
"Yes."
"Great! Then, that's your task! Go!"
"But Master, I need resources to do that."
(Fuck! I should have known this wouldn't be free...)
"What do you need?"
"50kg of food, 20 trees, 1kg of salt."
"That's enough to make 10 servants."
"Yes, it is."
(Damn....)
"Let's say you complete the research, how much time it will save?"
"Hmm.... I don't know..."
(This seems too risky, let's save it for now, or else I will cry if after spending enough to 10 servants I only get enough to save an hour...)
"Then forget it."
Apollo turned to the soldier girl.
"Can you make a Map?"
"Yes, sir!"
(Sir? Hmm, forget it!)
"Then I want you to draw a map of all this valley and the mountains surrounding it."
"Understood, sir!"
Saying so, the soldier girl marched toward the mountain.
(Now that I think, does she even have pen and paper?? Well, that's her problem, not mine. Let's trust her for now...)
Looking back, there were still two girls left.
"Bring me to the factory."
The girl in engineer costume nodded once, turned around and started walking.
5 minutes later the three arrived at the Factory.
The Factory looked like a steel hangar with a huge gate. Inside it there were 5 huge 3D printers, one in each corner, plus one one the wall opposite to the gate.
Apollo approached one of the printer's console and clicked on it's power button.
The console lit up and a list with three categories appeared: Weapons/Tools, Vehicles and Seeds of War.
Apollo clicked on the Weapons option and a list of wood and stone weapons appeared.

-Ancient Stone Sword
-Ancient Stone Axe
-Ancient Wood Crossbow
-Ancient Wood Bow
...
(What the hell are these Ancient weapons!? There are not even guns here!!)
Next, Apollo tried the vehicle option and only 2 options appeared:
-Ancient Wood Boat
-Ancient Cart
(Fuck! No flying car, no tank, not even a flying skate! This is cruel!)
Finally Apollo tried the SoW option, but nothing appeared on the list.
(Crap! I can't believe it!)
"Is there no way to make another Lab at all??"
The answer came from behind him, in such a low voice it was difficult to hear it.
"Lab, requires iron, sand and 1 core."
"I see, so we don't have them..."
"We got the core and iron, we don't have the sand."
(Sand, hmm?)
(I think I saw an Ocean toward the North of this Mountain.)
(If it truly is an ocean, there should be some beaches around it...)
(No, actually even if it was a lake there should be some, right?)
(Then what should I do? Send her out or forget it?)
(...Fuck! There is not enough time!!! I should have finished it yesterday instead of falling asleep!)
"How long do you need to reach the beach in the other side of the mountain?"
The engineer girl tilted her head, confused.
(Of course she doesn't know, you idiot! Ahhh! What should I do???)
(Sending her out will take too long, even if she comes back in 20 hours I doubt we will be able to build a new SoW in time so let's just try our luck searching around the valley!)
"Go look around the valley for useful material and bring them back here."
The engineer girl nodded and headed out.
"What about me?"
(Oh, yeah, there is still you...)
"Hmm... What do you want to do?"
"RESEARCH!!!"
(Oh, don't you say....Sigh...)
"What research can you do now with the material we have?"
"Research better wood weapons, research a new wood vehicle or research plant control skills."
(Makes sense. Considering how much wood we have, it's no surprise the research would be something like wood weapons and vehicles... wait, what was that last one??)
