Despair struck me as I slowly awakened to the horrifying realisation in front of me. I felt my perception of time stretch as something inside my mind shattered. I was desperately trying to find something to disprove the reality I was in, trying to deny the terror that is the eternal and unrepentant grey button of doom. Unfortunately, regardless of how my eyes darted back and forth, the unforgiving grey button remained, unchanging and unchallenged. Soon, I had to accept and come to terms with it.
