Samuel might seem to just want to grow stronger with no goal in mind, but what he is after is a way to ensure he can live without answering to anyone. He lost his free Will in his past life and he doesn’t want that again. As a result of Annihilation Maker he wants to keep making more creatures as it fills him with joy.

This reminds me of a type of creature my favorite author made for his story, a sub species of Griffin. Instead of a lion body it had a wolf body with a eagle front half.
