I had seen Darth Maul use this weapon in Star Wars, and to be honest, even though I wasn't a fan of the Dark Side characters, I had to admit that his saber fighting styles were only rivaled by Grandmaster Yonda. And I am not talking about the saber stuff used by the Jedi temple guards, I mean two different light sabers joined together. I feel Vipin can use this situation of agreeing to fix matches to his advantage.He should come forth and tell his situation to BCCI and the media before the gambling members do anything. He can use the situation of his mom as a sympathy card and make it seem like a desperate act of a loving child.There will be backlash, but as he didn't cause the team to lose it would be not that severe. He can make his story dramatic like he wanted to not let his mother die, so he was ready to be maligned or bear any sins for her. But, while watching the same in the stadium cheering for the team he felt guilty and he didn't want to crush the trust the people have on him for his selfish reasons so he played well.It's just a thought
