I think the author is just going in-depth about the characters here and their background. Some fanfics I read just gloss over things like this, my opinion anyway.

Well if its MC's that are physical there's this new fanfic I am reading: The Tribulations of Tsukiyama Shuu. The author even tells us to join in on his work out lol. Anyway, this Naruto fanfic is nice. Can you recommend any good ben ten fanfic?

I can see this is relatively new, that's why I am not giving it five stars yet. Only two chapters so far, and I can tell a lot of work was done here. Please no harem. If so just two not more, even the MC's dad doesn't like harem. And release more, I'll be sending the power stones so don't drop like others, later.
