I have a problem with your review. you said that this novel is super slow, comparing it to a man hole cover... but the man hole cover is the fastest moving man made object ever made. in 1957, they placed a man hole cover over a nuke when they were testing it. it reached speeds of over 125,000 mph as it was launched into space. so I thought you were saying that the speed of the novel was fast-paced😂

I'm not entirely sure. some comments from people say that it can, but I thought I was only for Artoria. that would be kinda broken if she could heal others, and I'm not sure it would make a good narrative point.

so, masters typically have 3, but they change all the time depending on the mage. like in ubw lancers master has a ton of command seal, while rin and shirou only have 3. Jeanne has 28 because she is a Ruler (rulers get 28) and MC (who is a class which I made up, whose role is to protect rulers) gets 14 to help officiate the Holy Grail Wars under the command and direction of the Ruler.

I think that your point of MC being experienced in war and making "rookie" mistakes hits the nail on the head. it's something that I definitely could work on. in one of the most recent chapters, I ran into that exact problem, where in all reality, MC wouldn't have made the decision that he did. He doesn't know what was wished, only that it has to deal with himself and Jeanne. the assumption right now is that Alaya can "delay" or "change" wishes if She so choose, though we will see that that's not entirely true in the future.

so this is AU. the root is more power with a dormant conscious, while alaya has kinda been "left in charge" while the root "slumbers"

well, remember, Shirou’s endurance stat was at EX The same as Godricks. also, writing a halberd is surprising hard for me for some reason. I just don't know if I'm just not used to it or what, I just feel like I can't get a hang of it. also, writing MC using bare fists is just a lot of fun. I feel like I can do it a lot better.

I haven't gotten a chance to rewrite the prologue, as I'm taking care of my wife, and I am too excited to write the next Arc of the story (the rewrite will happen after that) I hope you find a book that checks all your boxes, and I hope you might consider giving this novel another chance when the first 11 chapters or so have been rewritten. I would encourage you to read the chapters from 11 or 12 on (I can't remember the exact chapter where the prologue ends) and tell me what you think of those, as they deal with Holy Grail Wars and such. I'm sorry you feel that way. I haven't rewritten the prologue yet, as I've been busy taking care of my wife and am too excited about writing the next arc. I'm going to rewrite the first 11 chapters or so, and I was up front about that. I hope you can find a book that checks all your boxes, and I hope that you will give this book another chance in a couple of months when the prologue has been changed!
