I agree with you although the atmosphere of this novel seems more overgeared, the SS is geared towards the dark theme and sometimes in other people's perspectives the mc is recognized, already overgeared and softer, with the mc being stronger for his level as in this novel the MC is highlighted not for being strong but for having that strength without mana.
