This was mentioned a long time ago, but Marquis Yao is essentially the designated bad guy. He chose to make himself "the traitor" as a sort of redemption (I think, it's been a while) and to help uphold the stability of the province. If I remember correctly this was discussed with the county governor, and it was shown that they were in fact close friends.

Oh sorry about that. I thought I fixed that. I guess I missed a few chapters. I'll go and fix that now.

I'll just say that Graphic Design is not my passion.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thankfully I haven't uploaded too many chapters so it won't take terribly long for me to implement that.

Honestly it's because I don't want to get confused between the MC'S words and everyone else's. I could do something like use a ' instead of " to mark his words if it's bothering people.

Honestly I'm a little proud of this and a little ashamed. My updating schedule is terrible, and my writing isn't perfect, but I do like it. I genuinely like what I wrote here, and I hope others do as well.
