Idk I feel like a brief mention would help future scenes. Knowing how powerful it is too, or him experimenting with his new powers to find their limits would help the readers out. It was of my understanding that the healing spit was a minor regenerative power, not a heal a gunshot wound/broken nose type of deal.

Dude ima just be so fr. There are so many continuity errors. One, the police would see he was lying about the death of his parents, they would see strangulation not gunshots wounds. Then he got shot but it was healed? Then he got beat up in the station but no one noticed? There’s just so many mistakes that make no sense.

Good work here! I hope to see Kazzy expand into the stone gloves that the Dai Lee use, might help protect his hands from the heat. Furthermore, learning how to use light stone armor will let him subtly protect himself while doing big attacks like this in the future.

Yes! Absolute save here. I respect the author for being mad, especially as this is a hidden gem with hours of historical work put into it, but it is also peak. As a historian I recognize how much research went into this, but I also believe this is something that needs to be read. Ahhhh the duality of reading/writing. Thank you for the drive folder, would’ve hated not finishing it.

I love this, and I hate how I was almost done only to see it taken down ~_~. Right at the part where Baldwin was negotiating with the assassins to kill the other ones. What awful misfortune.

Late comment, but didn’t the minister literally say that if anyone was brought into the family war that the French ministry would get rid of both families? I’m pretty sure kidnapping a foreign dignitary would count.

I’m not yet finished with this fic, but I’m commenting this review in the hopes the author sees it. It is a good story, but the cadence, the lilts used in your writing is a bit overwhelming. You write like this “It wasn’t just a statement- it was a gesture of providence”. And do this about every 4 sentences. This makes the story feel less personal and more like the mc is trying to make a statement every second. Besides this I get some good Black Butler vibes, keep it up.

I really think the MC shouldn’t gain deity lvl of power from drinking Coco’s blood. My reasoning behind this is that the Vampires essence lets him absorb the power, but surely there’s a limit. Sure he can absorb the power, but the Vampires essence will always be first as it let Blanche absorb the power in the first place. That means the power can never be fully realized as the Vamps essence cannot account for it. It’s like a funnel, as while he has the power, he can’t get it to fully go through. Idk that’s my opinion, as Coco is way above a Vamp. The Vamp might get some of the essence but can’t get everything and probably loses more than they gain.

Great chap but I have some points of hold up. One I’m really hoping that he doesn’t become deity level of op, as the VK is already insanely strong. I feel like the VK and vampire essence would take precedence over whatever he absorbs, so even if it’s a god, he would have a limit on how much he could absorb. That limit being the inherent limit of the VK. Second I’m really looking for some more vamp powers/scenes of him utilizing the vampire powers.
