Sorry :( recently been trying to improve further so I've been gaining 'insights' (reading novels) recently. My motivation for this novel isn't to gain popularity, but to craft a beautiful story whilst improving my writing skills. But I don't want to neglect my readers either ;-; I'll just try my best!
You're right. I leave readers in the dark too much. Mc's soul splitting indeed has something to do with the cure :) (Also, if you read the end of chapter 60, it may have been more clear. However, its unrealistic to expect readers to remember every paragraph)
Growing a tree that yields enough wood is a lengthy endeavor and not worth the effort. Instead, waiting for the system to respawn trees would be more efficient. At least for now...
My original inspiration, believe it or not :)
In this story, an integral part is MC's interaction with science and the real world - the collision of magic and science. Though it may be true that this novel may be tackling too many things at once, it unfortunately (or not) is the case. Even so, I respect your decision. Though I wouldn't call it an "arc", it doesn't even last 10 chapters :)
Thanks for the review! Truth to be told, I don't write 3 chapters a day, haha. I just have a stockpile and I am unloading it rather quick for the benefit of the readers. However, I'll have to revert to 1/2 chapters a day *eventually*. And yes, I do go over the chapters alot - your comment tells me that you understand the grind :) As for all of the other points, I fully agree. I feel as if my novel's strongest points are its uniqueness and originality, however other aspects certainly need work. I am always aiming to improve though.
Absolutely. Will fix
Answering this question fully is a MAJOR spoiler. So I'll answer it partially, which is only a minor spoiler. All elements combined contribute to knowledge regarding matter as a whole. Therefore, it isn't exactly an element, but rather a type of magic that can be used with multiple elements in conjunction. Thus, it is given its own skill, even if it doesn't make an elemental star as one of the seven elements.
"In total, the cost of this room had to be at least 500,000 F-Credits, which is the equivalent to nearly 10 times the annual salary of an average worker in the city." - chapter 2 of the novel. Do what you will with this information :)
Thank you for your insights. Most likely, replacing foraging with gathering would be better for clarity, while the farming skill not showing up in his most recent stat page was a complete oversight on my part. Great catches! As for the stats that showed as 0%, I assume that you are talking about Jake's stats. In that case, it is because he has awakened his talent as a mage. The system does not display areas of the stat pages that are not relevant to the character, but magic is relevant to him even though he does not technically have progress into magic just yet (His mana core is fully functional, thus unlocking that part of his stats).
Serves to demonstrate Kenny's wealth and reinforce the Mc's situation as a transmigrator :) Could have been excessive though.
