Reason he stopped translation is because there is nothing to translate, orginal author stopped updating.

If i not wrong MC hasn't spoken a single word so far other than his inner monologue. Like wth, 9 chs in and there isn't a single conversation just characters going on a rant.

It was a good start but constant break in scenes after a good build up is the absolute worst thing you could do. It like slowly going 0-90 and then bam! back to 0.

He is 14(8th grade) I think, Alex is 13(7th grade) and Haley is 15/16(9/10th grade)
